One thing Mystic’s Littleton location does very well is utilize limited space effectively. Both games I’ve played here so far have made the most of a fairly small area while still feeling like I’m progressing and not just staying in one place. This one was a pretty solid bread-and-butter escape room. It’s not that flashy but it’s really good. Puzzles are fun and just challenging enough.
A lovely linear game - while some treat that as an epithet these days, I’m a bit old school in that I really enjoy linear puzzle flows.
There were some lovely props, and the set decoration overall was well done.
Mystic’s staff are always really kind and fun.
Simple and straightforward. The theming did provide a consistent experience.
Medium
We did have to ask for a few hints but nothing was so hard we weren’t having fun.
Mechanical
There may be a few techy things here but by and large this is mechanical. Keys and locks, brainy puzzles, and a few physical-manipulation moments.

The space isn’t big enough to fit too many. 2-4 is probably ideal.

There was a small amount of crawling, but it’s definitely possible to send a subset of the group through that part and leave others in the main area.
There was a section of the room only accessible by crawling.
No
Much easier on subsequent visits, but the first time you go, expect to drive past it and have to loop around.

The parking lot isn’t huge but both times I’ve visited, I have parked without difficulty.

Well-done! A lot of content packed into a small house with multiple rooms to be played! I loved the props, paint treatments, and thoughtful linear play that made sense from one step to the next.

Very well designed and built room. The puzzles were clever and all of the technology worked the way it was supposed to. We had four in our group and had plenty for everyone to do. The room wasn't particularly difficult but it was lots of fun! GReat room and highly recommend.

Gen 1 room. Too much crawling for anyone over 30. Hot room in the winter. Will need a refresh/upgrade to get closer to current escape room tech soon

This was great. I struggle a little with books wondering what is a red herring/not part of a clue, but we figured it out. There was one puzzle that was particularly difficult requiring both reference another clue and deciphering the instructions, a good balance of easy and difficult and good atmosphere.

A small bit of crawling, but if you ask, the operator can open it to allow to walk though.
Not too bad. Should have 1 person physically mobile and 1 with good eyes.

Pretty good room overall. We enjoyed the puzzles and game flow - but it’s a bit small for 6 people. Would recommend 2-4.

Overall a fun room! Everything worked and clues were easy to follow. This is a linear room with mostly mechanical locks with a mix of some tech. There will be crawling and the room can be very dim at times. The staff was amazing though, very friendly and funny! Set design is a little outdated and there was no music so felt a little quiet at times.

Crawling
Crawling and some puzzle/locks are near the ground which requires be able to get up and down from the floor often. Very dim room with only small battery powered candles to light up locks.

One of my top favorites! I would definitely recommend. Best in a ground of 2-4.
Super fun! It started off easy and got harder which gave us the necessary momentum to solve the harder puzzles. There was only one puzzle we needed a hint on, but once we got the hint it made sense!
The first room was fairly dark. I had to use the mini candles in the room to try and light some things up. They took our phones upon arrival so that wasn’t an option. The blacklight flashlights provided didn’t have enough battery charge in them either so it was pretty hard to use those around the room. The second and third rooms matched the vibe perfectly!!
Staff was lovely. We were treated well, they offered us a discount at the end of our game. My only “complaint” (which I can’t even say is a complaint) was that we waited outside for a bit before they answered the door.

For the most part, we drove past it the first time then were able to swing around and park. The parking lot signs were a little confusing though as to if we were allowed to park there.
