The Orphanage

One of the best rooms I’ve done. To say that is an immersive experience is a understatement. The place is extremely clean. Game Master is super friendly. Very welcoming. I have done three out of the four rooms here and every single room is unique in its own way.

Overall fun/spooky with some memorable puzzles! Mostly found this easy aside from 1-2 puzzles that didn't make the most sense. Still really fun :)

I did this with two other adults , super sun and soooky and we had some good scares and laughs it’s pretty immersive and definitely spooky and scary , with the set Dec lighting and music you really feel immersed in there .

I gave it a thumbs up because only the worst escape rooms deserve a thumbs down, and this wasn’t the worst, but also, nowhere near the best. It’s one of those games that you don’t even realize you’ve won, but then it’s over. We did this game earlier on in our escape room history, so by no means experts, but we moved through this game fast. Too fast. It’s very linear, and very sparse for any actual puzzle solving. We mostly were “finding” things, instead of solving puzzles. The environment was super spooky and the decor was amazing, this room’s saving grace tbh. We had 5 people, too many in my opinion as there were only a couple things to discover in each part of the room. I did love that there were multiple rooms to gain access to, and the stayed on theme for the most part. The end made little sense and I feel like we escaped without really knowing how we actually did it. We haven’t done another room by this company since, but maybe when we run through the other amazing rooms LA has to offer, we may consider it. No jump scares, no live actor, just a spooky environment.

You can fly through this game if you are an experienced player. Puzzles are not that hard to solve but still fun game that can put a scare in you

Most of this room flowed really nicely, towards the end I think the story was less coherent. We had 5 people and maybe with a group that size there is less to do.

I have to agree with the recent reviews. This is an older room that might have been better in its heyday, but was tired and had many broken parts, ruining the experience for us. It started out strong but very quickly became annoying and even frustrating. It is time to retire this room, or repurpose it with working equipment.

I feel like this one’s only highly rated because it’s scary and atmospheric. As an escape room, it leaves a lot to be desired. The puzzles are confusing and don’t always make sense. We had to ask for so many hints, and we’re pretty experienced and rarely need to ask for hints. The story was also pretty strange. The atmosphere was effective and well done, but there are definitely better scary rooms out there.

Loved the atmosphere of this room! Felt like you were in a horror video game. Felt like the gameplay had more potential, it got a little confusing at the end.

I legitimately felt like I was in a horror movie! So creative, so immersive; there were maybe one or two spots that I think could have been a little clearer, but it didn't ruin the experience at all.
