Very mixed feelings on this room. 2nd room weβve done with this company where puzzles didnβt work. Theme of the room was pretty unique and enjoyable with some very cool challenges; however, some puzzles are a bit too abstract/tedious with counting.

My wife and I returned to Paranoia Quest for there new room Gold Heist and once again they delivered! Somehow they managed to pack a ton of WOW moments into this smaller game! Going in we were a bit worried because they advertise this as their hardest room designed for enthusiasts like us. However, 9/10 times when we have played rooms like that it's just hard for all the wrong reasons. This was anything but that! There is alot of thinking and you will need to deduce and count a few times throughout the game but in the context of the story they created and the immersion it 100% made sense so we had no issue with that at all. This is a must play game in Georgia, you wont be disappointed by the challenge. We got out in 58 mins and 11 seconds and onmy used 2 clues both times it was our fault for missing one obvious clue and thebother for not reading something correctly.
It was definetly fun, instructions and narrative were very clear for what our mission was. The immersion was spot on, set design was very well done and the puzzles flowed very well together. There are moments you can work on multiple things at the same time so try not to be too linear on this one, definetly a semi-linear room.
Sets, special effects and props were very immersive. You will feel like you are breaking into a bank in this one. Lots of WOW moments in this game and perfectly timed sounds, my wife was constantly surprised by things happening through out the game. They serious pack SO much into this game it's quite impressive honestly!
Once again this is where Paranoia Quest wins it for us, their service, passion and willingness to go above and beyond to set the mood for the games is why we will come back. They even remembered us when we walked in from last time which shows they care and pay attention to their customers!
Yes
Very interesting, if you are into a good story line or a story driven mission then pay close attention in this one, you will not be disappointed!
Yes, from beginning to end you are being introduced to protagonist and antagonist characters. Even at the end we were like this guy is a jerk lol π We thoroughly enjoyed being post modern day robin hoods!

This is definitely as advertised! If you are new to escape rooms definetly be sure to use the 5 clues provided for you..our experience got us through this one but it's been along time since we felt the pressure of the clock. We forgot how fun that was!
High tech
Definetly high tech 100%, as already mentioned I can't believe they packed SO much into this game. There is no locks in this experience and there are plenty of tangible elements you are going to interact with that are very accurate to their story and theme.
4
The game is rated for 6 players max, I would say 4 is the perfect number for this room but 6 people will have plenty to do as well.
Spooky
I can't 100% say not scary because man some of those WOW moments in the game caught us ofguard in a good way so just be prepared for a bunch of "WOAH! WHAT WAS THAT?" moments!

This is tough to say, I would say due to complex nature of the puzzles in the experience I would say more of an older crowd like 17 and up.

Everything worked perfectly, I saw a previous review that a few things were a bit touchy but for us it was spot on so they might have already made their adjustments.
Yes
Yes, they had a funny a witty GM that comes out in full character prior to set the mood before the game starts.

I would say the first room might be a little tight but everything after is no problem at all.

Over all the game the game was a 8/10. A lot of counting that was extremely tedious. I enjoyed the concept and some of the puzzles but most of them were a little unresponsive at times. I give the game grace since it is freshly out of testing.
It flowed most of the time.. there was sometimes where might be lost but itβs only a few times.
solid. definitely could have improvements
Kenneth was absolutely fantastic! was extremely welcoming and nice

This was a fantastic room! Our group was 3 enthusiasts and we made it out with under 5 minutes to spare! It was very immersive. We all felt like we were actually employees of the bank at one point. It was a really fun experience and probably the most technically advanced room I've done so far (out of 60). Very fun! But definitely highest difficulty room of this venue and many others!
Yes
It was very complex and difficult but also manageable!

It's a small room! More people wouldn't help with puzzles at all.
