Mafia: The Golden Ring

Excellent puzzles. Attention to detail needed and great theming.

Fantastic room with great puzzles and interesting ways of solving them!

This was the second of Adventure Rooms newer rooms that we’d done - previous one was Speakeasy - so we expected high quality but Mafia exceed our expectations. It’s not easy. We escaped but only due to the lovely game master giving us a couple extra minutes because we were so close. Would recommend for a group of 3-4 who have done an escape room before as there is a lot to get through and some not so easy puzzles to solve.

This was our second room at Adventure Rooms, and it was just as good, if not better, than the first. The theming was excellent, the puzzles were fun, although we were expecting a bigger challenge from a 5/5 difficulty.

Friendly staff here, Chelsea (i think that was her name) was very welcoming. Mafia was a delightful game with a strong theme and story. It had many inventive puzzles that always had a strong connection to the theme and story. We had a lot of fun with this one.

As a seasoned escape room enthusiast, this was by far, the hardest room I have experienced. Puzzles were challenging and well-crafted, however, the ratio of time to the number of puzzles was inadequate. This room, to complete successfully for many players, would require at least 1hr15mins or more. I was highly impressed with the quality of these puzzles- but was unsatisfied with the hint system. We are unable to ask for hints ourselves, and game masters rely on the verbal/non-verbal cues to decide when they believe players require hints. Overall, it was a great experience and escape room, with a few minor issues on my part. I do recommend this room for highly-experienced players and groups of 4+!
