Welcome to the Gotham City Guardians training program! Gotham City, a metropolis plagued by crime and injustice, is in dire need of heroes. In response to the escalating threats, Batman has initiated a new Gotham City Guardian training program. You have been carefully selected for the program to attempt a new and intense training exercise, designed to teach you how to push your limits, catch criminals and uphold justice alongside the Caped Crusader. To prove you have what it takes, you must compete to complete the rigorous training exercise designed by the Batman. Pass, and you're in. Fail, and your origin story ends here. Are you prepared to answer the call? You've answered the call and there's no time to waste. Step into a custom simulation of the Batcave, filled with bat-tech tailored to your mission needs. The communication systems built into the Batcomputer are designed to deliver guidance along the way, with curated clues from the Batman to guide you through your journey. But be warned ... the rest is up to you. Batman has planted a training device in the heart of Gotham City, filled with a non-harmful chemical compound designed to mimic a legitimate chemical leak without the fatality. The device is fitted with a countdown clock that will release the gas in exactly 60 minutes after your mission start time so you'll have to work quickly. There's no turning back now, Guardian. The Dark Knight chose you for this program-prove him right or miss your shot forever. lt is up to your team to locate and disarm the training device that Batman has planted in the heart of Gotham City. If you can find the device and stop the release of the gas before the countdown timer ends in 60 minutes, you will have successfully completed your mission, cleared your training and saved Gotham City. But if you fail, you will leave and not be invited to return into the program again. This is your one and only chance to get this right. Do you have what it takes to complete your mission and earn your status? Can you locate the chemical device and defuse the situation before time runs out? Will you prove you have the ability to fight for justice, or will Gotham City's criminal forces be out of your league? Prepare for the unexpected, work closely with your team and don't give up - the clock is ticking. Time is of the essence.

With licensed games you always start out hopeful. The set was above average for Escapology but that’s where it ends. Multiple tech puzzles didn’t work. Over 190 escape rooms played and we’ve never had to ask for so many clues. For one puzzle, the game master sent us an un-requested clue the second we walked into that room because the leap in logic is so bad they didn’t even wait for us to ask for help with it. Designers; if a puzzle is so bad that every single group needs help with it, then the problem is with the design, not the player. I would expect a franchise to at least refine their games before installing them around the country. I really wanted to like this one, but we left pretty disappointed. My poor wife kept apologizing since this was a birthday gift to me. But even a bad experience at an escape room is a pretty good day.

Lost a card key in first 10 minutes... No replacements, they said do without... Made last puzzle hard. Also a panel that took well well above the two fingers force they tell you to use. We had to pry it free after clue...

Fun room, definitely OK for younger folks as it wasn't scary. Nice special effects especially towards the end. Liked the multiple room approach. Great for Batman fans.

This room is a little like Batman Forever: enjoyable enough but inconsistent in a way that makes it unclear who this was for. The Batman theme will draw attract a certain market, likely families and those less experienced. The first room will likely please this audience, as you interact with some famous Batman props in very simple, procedural ways. The latter rooms up the difficulty with layered puzzles that are underclued and paired with faulty tech. These puzzles are meaty, but they will frustrate all groups more than nipples on a batsuit. Videos would play without audio, puzzles would not give consistent visual or auditory feedback, and lighting would add difficulty. It’s enough to make Christian Bale growl, but even the most scorned Jokers will find something to enjoy here. I’m not sure it’s worth theater prices, though, so maybe I can’t fully recommend this. Holy plot twist, Batman!

Fun room and a great way to spend an hour in the Batman Universe. The staff was welcoming and set the stage for our story. We enjoyed most of the puzzles and did get that “ah ha!” moment on some of the solutions. We did stumble on one puzzle and our clue was just the solution. Overall a fun outing!

Decent game. Game masters need to pay more attention to what’s going on as when we asked for a clue they gave us a clue to something we already had figured out.

I don’t know what is more disappointing the game or the staff. Save yourselves the annoyance and bad taste and go to another company. Escapology scrapes the bottom of the barrel. And the staff couldn’t be bothered. Absolutely pathetic.

Many things in the room did not work properly. Also, our game master gave us clues (two times) for puzzles we had already solved, and then he gave us clues for parts that we were doing correctly but were broken/erroring. So we had a lot of wasted time. Then at the end it just said we completed the mission, when we hadn’t yet. Then the game masters came in and said we were done and didn’t apologize at all for the faulty aspects of the rooms. No compensation was offered either. Cool looking game and theme was great but it didn’t work properly and the people working there didn’t seem to care that it didn’t work properly. They shouldn’t have allowed us to book the experience in the first place knowing the room was faulty. Disappointing.

Loved Batman! It wasn't too difficult which is great for new players. They get a great theme without the extreme difficulty. The staff was wonderful. They were so kind and helpful. They were probably the best part of the game.

Definitely a unique, fun theme. There were a couple of things that didn’t happen the way that they should have. The GM had to come into the room twice and it took away from the immersion. My understanding was that Batman only opened a few days before we went, though. You can play with up to six but I would recommend 3-4 max as the rooms are in close quarters. I liked it but didn’t love it.
