Save Scoops Ahoy

I liked when you ask for a hint, what you're given still requires a bit of brain work to advance. So much better than just being told what to do, so you still have that sense of accomplishment finding the info you were stumped on. (Note: Without giving any spoilers here... kudos to anyone who can figure out one specific part of the ice cream cones without a hint!). The room was well designed & as my 1st escape room, has me wanting to go back & try their new "Jail Break" room immediately! Another addicted customer. 🤓

When we first arrived, they tried charging us for my granddaughter. Who’s only four years old. Even though I was told on the phone multiple times that she was free. Every single lock in the room was almost broken. The worker had to come in three times just to open things that we had already figured out, but it was “finicky”. It was honestly a waste of money also at the end when we got into the second room, she kind of pushed us into the second room, even though we weren’t ready to go over there because she had to reset it for another group to come in while we were still in the second room meaning that they’re just trying to get you in and out they don’t even care if you pass it the game masters at this place or not in it for the fun of the game they’re in it for the money. There was no TV screen or anything to keep our time and to get hints. There was a baby monitor that was used as communication between us and the game master, which didn’t even work if you touched it wrong it got unplugged.

I love stranger things and this room definitely had its challenges but the flow wasn’t up to snuff.

This was a VERY hard room but it was fantastic. I’d highly recommend but understand going on that you will probably not complete it. My friend and I are avid escape room people (he’s done about 400 and I’ve done about 50) and we struggled a lot. There were some clues that weren’t relevant and others that we overthought. Despite not finishing it, I loved it.

This room was honestly amazing! Very impressive how good everything looked. But this room was very hard so just think about that when inviting people. Even though it was hard you can still do it with a small group (that’s what we did) I would very much recommend you go play all their rooms!
