A lawyer from the old family law firm hands you a tattered envelope. You see that his eyes hint at deep secrets. As he passes the envelope to you, his voice, heavy with the weight of untold stories, breaks the silence. Inside, you find the last will and testament of a mysterious relative you never knew existed. The document is old and frayed, its words barely legible, but unmistakably bequeathing to you an entire estate. The will carries a peculiar stipulation: you must visit the deceased’s manor immediately to uncover further instructions and claim your inheritance. With each room you unlock and each puzzle you solve, the story of your enigmatic benefactor unfolds. Welcome to “The Inheritance”—where your resolve, wit, and courage will be tested as you delve deeper into the shadows of the unknown. What could possibly go wrong?

A good story and room. Decor was ok. Puzzles were fun and made for a great group experience.

Definite recommend. Had a feeling it was going to be great once we walked in to Lock and Clue, very clean and the staff was super friendly. Our GM was terrific - really helped make the experience enjoyable for us and really seemed to enjoy working there. The room itself was great, very interesting puzzles and setup. We're a husband/wife team and with some helpful nudges from our friendly GM, we were able to escape.
One of the best GMs in our experience

I am colorblind and for some of the puzzles I was very grateful to have my non-color blind partner with me.

This was a really nice, expansive room with satisfying, logical gameplay, several moments of fun a-has, and no puzzles that felt like a miss. Different parts of the room felt distinctive, and clearly a lot of thought had been put into the design, immersion and even a bit of a story unfolding. The first part of the experience was low light (not completely dark), but after that all was thankfully well lit. Everyone on the staff was really friendly, nudges on what we were missing came at the right time but not too intrusively, and care and thought had been put into how we were introduced into the room (as well as the other room we did.) Doable with two people with a bit of experience.

We didn't have super high expectations going into this room, and only signed up because the theme sounded unique, but boy were we blown away. Best GM we've ever had, fully committed to the bit, only gave us hints in riddle format, and was super excited to have enthusiasts playing. The room itself far exceeded our expectations, both in terms of the puzzles and the setting. We played as a team of three, and there was always something for everyone to do in a puzzle style they felt strong in. And we made first on the leader board! We'll definitely be coming back to Lock & Clue.

This was the first room I hosted as a MeetUp group for Morty. I felt this was a perfect room for people who were just playing escape rooms for the first time. There were a lot of different types of puzzles to keep everyone involved. A few really nice aha moments when puzzles were solved. I really enjoyed the whole vibe of the location. It's on the second floor of a converted candy factory. I look forward to going back and doing the other rooms.

Fun straight-forward room with a good overall feel. GM communication is via a walkie talkie. Set dressing is well done and fits the story. A wide variety of puzzles. Each room of the experience has multiple puzzles which can be worked on concurrently allowing for faster escapes and more for each person to do. Overall it was a positive and fun experience, and great for new escapers (we had one in our group who had a blast).

Not wheelchair accessible. Building has elevator but not near the game and game is on different floor from office. However there are stairs in the game itself. Also one room is very dark until lights are activated which made be a problem for those with vision problems.

This game was very cool. You can tell that a lot of hard work went into the set design - very professional looking. We had a great time.
