Nightfall: Creature At Camp Deadwood

Nightfall is a solid escape room and a fun experience overall. The atmosphere is spooky without being truly scary, which makes it approachable while still setting a great tone. The actor involvement and atmosphere make a key difference in this room and really help elevate the experience and immersion. The puzzles flow and keep you engaged throughout. Our only real complaint was that the ending felt a bit anticlimactic compared to the rest of the room, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. TEV room ranking so far: 1.) Every room left us feeling fulfilled and genuinely happy we played, which speaks to the consistency and quality across all of their experiences

Room and game master were both amazing, great experience overall.

The GM was such a trooper! Loved the set design and camp fire smell. We felt totally immersed and had a lot of fun. We did ask to tone down the scary so we appreciated that haha

This was my first room where multiple scents played a strong role in creating a rich narrative environment. Our GM Jake did a great job bringing the story to life, his performance was unhinged to say the least. We played with 4, but I’d recommend a group of no more than 3 for this room, it’s not a physically large space. My only complaint is that the “creature” wasn’t as physically present as I would have hoped.

The set decor was absolutely incredible!! You will feel like you are in a campground and a camper. It is jaw dropping. Things blend in so seamlessly that you will overlook puzzle pieces at first glance. That is how well done the Escape Room is. The creativity with the use of items from this type of environment made the Escape Room a ton of fun, interesting, and very unique. What made this Escape Room absolutely phenomenal was our game master, Jake. His sense of humor and delivery was absolutely outstanding and made us all laugh. I would highly recommend this game and if you’re lucky enough to have Jake as your game master, you will be thoroughly entertained!!

Another solid game from The Escape Ventures! Summer camp vibes going hard. A great set, fun puzzles and cool actor interactions. Plus Life is Strange references. A solid req from me! 🏕️🌲🔥

A few jump scares! Made it more of a thriller. Very linear puzzling which we enjoy so we don’t miss things/feel included in what the other person is doing. The set is complete with the smells of a camp fire.

Super fun immersive experience! Smells, sounds, and all the creepy camp fire classics you're expecting. Puzzles were challenging but not scratch your head hard. They include a live actor for the storyline which was awesome! Our GM made us feel very welcome and they stored our luggage for us since we were on our way to the airport.
