This room was so clever and fun. Lots of spaces to go through. And very fun puzzles. The staff was also amazing.

My experience with this room is that it's fine overall - not bad but not great. There's lots of puzzles and I appreciated the continuous theming and playful areas. Some pieces were noticeably worn down. It appears non-linear but I think it actually works linearly, so while there's a lot to see and explore, there's only one intended path forward. I perhaps would have had a better time but sometime near the start, the GM started telling us what to look for despite stating explicitly that we didn't want hints. It stopped after I reminded them that we were a no-hint group, but having those moments of unsolicited help took away the satisfaction of exploring our own way, or knowing whether or not we would have figured it out ourselves.
The themed puzzles were cool and I appreciated the thought that went into them, but I think they could work on more creative ways to ensure good flow in their game.
Set was cool! I liked how they designed the spaces. I think some of the props could use some love.
Our initial GM was great, but I think at some point they switched and the unsolicited hints soured the experience for us. It's probably a miscommunication issue, so maybe they just need a way to keep track of each room's preferences if the GMs ever have to swap from each other.

I absolutely loved this escape room!! I’ve been to 3 of the escape rooms at Quest Tavern so far and they’ve all been super fun and high quality! This one is great for little children tag alongs but do require adults to solve the puzzles because some of them are a bit on the harder side. Candy!!! You can eat them!!! Need I say more?? 🤣 But if you’re somehow not convinced, then super immersive puzzles that are NOT lock reliant, lots of sounds, lights, fun and cute things to do! Non linear so it’s a lot to take in in the beginning! Theme is consistent and cute! Great for groups of 3+. We did it as a 2 person team and went slightly over time lol. Our GM Patrick was kind enough to let us finish because we were close enough to the end. All the puzzles were novel and unique and I enjoyed it from beginning to end! 🥰 Thank you again for the wonderful experience!

Loved the theme! You’re in a gingerbread house! Lots of candy! (Some you can eat! 😋)
Our GM Patrick was phenomenal! Made our experience super fun and immersive! I’ve been to 3 different rooms at the Quest Tavern and they’ve all had a super fun and immersive “intro” to the game that doesn’t just feel like you’re being thrown into a room with a bunch of puzzles. You’re going on an adventure 🥰

Yes! Lots of candy to eat, lots of different levels in the set, super fun and family friendly escape room that children would love! (Though the puzzles are a tad bit on the hard side. I’d say the kids would be great tag alongs with adults to solve the puzzles!)
Hard
We actually didn’t finish in time, sadly. We’re a 2 people group and we went over by 5 minutes. Our GM was kind enough to let us finish because we were close enough. We got nudged along quite a few times and there were some things I could not find for the life of me 🤣 (Slight spoiler, I must have hit my head on the spot where said item was hidden a good number of times before our GM had to literally lead us to it lol).

Stairs, crawling (quite a lot of it lol), speedy reactions, this game is somewhat active!
Does require more mobility! Stairs, crawling, sloped flooring, one person is all you need, but it’s quite a lot of work for one person 😅

Really fun room with some multi-layer puzzles. Real, edible candy given throughout the game to encourage you as you complete the different puzzles. Completed with 2 people, but I think 3 would be a good number. Small space, but good use of it all. Hope you're not color blind, or some puzzles may be tricky. Would recommend!
Non-linear puzzle flow so that meant there's always something to do.
Really great set design - everything's candy themed.
GM really got into character - helped nudge us in the right direction when it seemed like we were stuck on something,

Really fun room!! Would be prefect for a birthday party or something just generally festive. Lots of really cool effects and a good variety of puzzles. None of them left me frustrated or felt clunky. That said, I wish one or two more puzzles were a bittt more difficult. The amount of puzzles made up for some of them being easy though. The room was super immersive with lots of fun surprises and overall the decor was really detailed and gorgeous!! The real candy in the room was an absolute highlight— I got an extra shot of serotonin every time I solved a puzzle that had some. Also the story was super clear and I was pleasantly surprised how well it flowed with the puzzles. Unfortunately the room uses really noticeable AI in several places that I think ruins some of the whimsy Our GM Haley was amazingggg, very sweet to talk to and always knew when to chime in. She was also very patient with us starting mildly late. If this room had one more difficult puzzle and swapped out the AI art, I’d say it’s 10/10. Until then 8/10
Non-linear but flowed well!! Good variety of puzzles
Overall gorgeous, with lots of little details everywhere you look. More rooms than expected ❤️ Shame they used AI on some parts 💔
Haley was 1000000/10 We also had a male GM pop in and he was funny

Uniquely detailed and had real candy 😙
Super clear, and a fun concept. The intro was really amusing

There’s a LOT to do and it being nonlinear means sometimes you’re just standing there. That said the actual puzzles were pretty easy to pick up on.

It being nonlinear means more people is helpful, that said some rooms are kinda tiny.

Done 28 rooms so far and this was one of my favorites! The set was incredibly well designed down to every detail- including themed scents! The puzzles were so perfectly aligned with the theme and story, and challenging enough to make us work for our escape! We used a couple hints, but figured everything else out in just enough time. There were 5 of us, and that was enough. Some spaces are small, but there are multiple spaces to discover. The GM and the rest of the staff were the friendliest, most genuine people! Their enthusiasm was contagious! This room could be described as linear a bit (more so towards the end). The ending is definitely one of the more fun endings of a game I’ve ever done! All around love, love, loved it!!!!!
