The Depths

This room had less enthusiastic ratings from friends who have done it before, but my low expectations were heavily exceeded. I liked the room because I am a science teacher, and I felt like I had many great "solves" in this room. This room probably has my favorite puzzles of the franchise so far. I was trying to figure out how to put the differences in words, and the best I can come up with is that it's more based on pattern observation than object manipulation. One of the top things that stood out about this room was that my friend and I could work concurrently on tasks, and we didn't get bottlenecked. The ending can be stressful with 2 people, but we made it work!

Everything an undersea lover would dream of. As expected from the Escape Game the theming was in point and the puzzles were a good balance of difficult and not too hard as to cause frustration

Great high tech room. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Theme between first and second areas felt a little inconsistent to me. Of the six The Escape Game rooms I've done, this was my least favorite. But even the weakest room at The Escape Game is still far better than most other companies in terms of variety and wow factor. Only reason it's a thumbs up vs love is we've gotten spoiled with their other rooms and we've come to expect the best from them.

This was my final room I needed to under The Escape Game brand for at least all of NYC and North Jersey! It was a great way to end. This room was an extremely well balanced room, with puzzles that can be accomplished simultaneously so you don’t necessarily feel left out of anything. I was particularly fond of the puzzles in the latter half, which I of course won’t spoil. But it was a great mix of traditional lock and key, as well as some nifty room spanning team work. And the finale is very video game-y in its conception and very fun’
