The Sacrifice

This game was fine with a few neat puzzles (there's a puzzle they add for more experienced players). Overall, it's a an easy game for "the hardest game" they have, but superior to Blackout puzzle-wise (though Blackout might have more if a surprise moment...) Quite a bit of this game was janky - broken props, low-effort set, etc. There is a dexterity-adjacent task at the beginning which I hadn't seen done in that way before. See my comments on Blackout re: customer service (not good) and GM (very nice but inexperienced).

No spoilers, but I absolutely love when games start the way this one did. Game host Dee, yet again, brought the energy. We had a great time in this room and saw some pretty unique puzzles.

Dee was a great game master that gave good nudges when needed. It was just two of us and we did not really get too stumped on any of the puzzles. But, we needed all of the time to get out. If you are OK with creepy vibes, slight jump scares, a little crawling, dark rooms and being "handcuffed", you will love this room.

This was a very fun room. I would definitely recommend!

From the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out was the absolute best! My daughter (11) and I were scared the most, but we pushed through thanks to the hubby. Our game master was great and helped when we were stuck. The puzzles stumped us at times. Overall though I highly recommend visiting and playing this room! The next time we are in Columbia we are definitely coming back!

We loved this game soo much my kids 15 and 11 thought it was scary but we still having so much fun. The beginning of the game was one of the coolest escape room experiences we have ever had. The Final Door is absolutely amazing and I believe our game host Dee made it so special. Can’t wait to go back and play the other two rooms!!!

This one was a really interesting game!!! I’m glad it wasn’t as scary as I thought it was gonna be :) very linear gameplay which was awesome for us because our “scary room philosophy” is to puzzle together lol, the game also felt like it just kept going! We escaped with 8 minutes left, though it felt like we were moving pretty sluggish at points to think up a plausible solution - but EVERYTHING made sense and worked pretty well too!! I was told not to reveal any thematic details to keep it as much as a surprise as possible for future players so I’ll leave that out - but it was fun!

Before the game, we were offered the choice of standard or advanced mode; we chose advanced. This adds a puzzle or two. We went over time, which is pretty unusual for us. Fortunately, the GM let us finish anyway; I suspect this might be a common occurrence. The set was decent, though it did feel a little more like decorated ordinary rooms than a totally unexpected space. That might be unavoidable, given the theme. The pacing felt a little off - the opening section felt like it dragged, though we were later told that we were around the target time. There was a logic puzzle late in the game that I thought was broken/unsolvable due to what turned out to be an unintentional red herring. I think with a few minor changes, this would have been a stronger game and I would have enjoyed it more.

Perfect atmosphere and theme. Spooky but not scary. Highly recommended!

One of my top 5 favorite rooms, EVER. I don’t like the reality of cult rituals, but the gameplay/puzzle aspect was fantastic. Everything blended in seamlessly. There was nothing extra or wasted. They personalized it for us, but picked my friend’s name when it was my birthday😒 Puzzles were challenging, but nothing extreme. Don’t do this one as your first room!
