Following the clues your partner & professor left behind, you are called to solve a mystery nobody could crack for centuries & discover something that will change the entire human history, as we know it!The letters that each one of you received last night, were all identical, but finally shed some light into the case of the missing for 6 years, Professor Robert Jackson. The map attached to the letter led you deep into Amazonia, the least explored & most remote part of the jungle.

This was a great experience for my group of 3 friends! We wanted to try the most challenging room at Game Over, and this did not disappoint. We got a few hints along the way and finished in 56 minutes. The puzzles were highly visual and tactile, requiring no English reading ability and only 1 traditional combination lock. The atmosphere and set design was great! A few of the puzzles were especially challenging and not intuitive for our group, but the game guide was great at paying attention and offering just the right vagueness of hints. The best part for us was that the puzzles were entirely in series--there was only one actively solvable part at a time, so our group went around together and took turns figuring them out. Nobody got lost, and we all felt involved and had a great time! As few as 2 people could physically do this room together. But a large group of people would probably end up with a few frustrated non-contributors unless you explicitly take turns.

Gameplay

Linear puzzles, one at a time. Mostly magnet-operated, high tech puzzles, not combination locks. English reading ability is not necessary in this room.

Story

A stereotypical "find the relic in the jungle temple" plot

Difficulty

Hard

Game tech

High tech

We had a game guide who was watching us and could provide manual hints, but due to the electronic and linear nature of all the puzzles, there was also an "in-universe" hint system where an actor provided vague information on the puzzle it knew was next.

Ideal number of players

3

We did it with 3 and I think that was an excellent number. The rooms weren't too large, and the puzzles were linear, meaning it was only solving one at a time in series. No multitasking. It was good to have a few hands and minds on deck, but too many people and I worry that some would feel like they aren't contributing.

Scary

Not scary

A few fake skeletons and skulls added to the atmosphere, but nothing very scary.

Fun game with a beautiful set. Some of the gameplay felt convoluted. But overall fun.

Gameplay

Gameplay was fun but there were some logic leaps. Sometimes symbols shown in multiple places in the room were difficult to recognize as the same symbol.

Atmosphere

Fun set - high production value.

Customer service

Appreciated the welcome and game mastering from Kelsey.

Amazing room! Lots to do, high tech, and a great story line. Really makes you think logically through lots of clues and use things across multiple rooms. You need great communication and observation skills!

Such a cool room. One of my favourites! There is a lot to do in this room, and thereโ€™s multiple rooms, itโ€™s got varying levels of darkness throughout. Great use of tech, really feels like an Indiana Jones experience. Cohesive story, no locks, lots of communication required between players. You should definitely play it!

This is a perfectly adequate escape room of the sort that I would not go out of my way to play. Nice lobby, though. Itโ€™s fine: the set is decent and there are a couple of interesting puzzles. But it isnโ€™t anything special. If you like to be locked in a room and given sixty minutes to escape, this will provide some measure of entertainment (albeit probably not sixty minutesโ€™ worth).

Gameplay

Pretty good puzzles overall with a couple that I liked quite a lot. Unfortunately the finale puzzle seemed rather underclued, had some issues with underpainted props, and the ending felt like an anticlimax.

Atmosphere

They put some effort into the set, but there is just not enough light even with the extra lantern you are given. Several nice reveals of puzzle elements. Nothing says โ€œI donโ€™t care about consistencyโ€ like putting a modern four-digit padlock on an โ€œancient wooden chestโ€ inside of your โ€œlost Mayan templeโ€ though.

Customer service

Very friendly GM.

Story

The setup is classic escape room โ€œfind the missing explorer in the ancient temple that might lead to El Doradoโ€ and then the story immediately goes in a completely different direction. When you get to the endโ€ฆ basically nothing happens. Very anticlimactic.

Difficulty

Medium

A couple of puzzles could stand to be clued better (especially the finale puzzle) but there is a good mix of puzzle types and difficulty. There is a dexterity puzzle which I actually liked, and that is rare.
