The Depths

I recently played “The Depths” at The Escape Game Miami in Miami and it was such an immersive experience from start to finish. The submarine setting genuinely made it feel like you were descending underwater, and the set design and atmosphere were incredibly well done. The technology throughout the game felt very high-end, and everything worked smoothly without any issues, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The puzzles were also excellent. Some of them took a good amount of time and really made our group stop and think, but honestly I prefer that over having lots of quick and easy puzzles. It felt rewarding whenever we figured something out, and the challenge level stayed fun without becoming frustrating. The game balances immersion, teamwork, and clever puzzle design really well. If you enjoy escape rooms with strong theming and thoughtful puzzles, I’d definitely recommend The Depths. Once you do one escape room here, I promise you will want to do another one! Maybe two more in the same night!

Amazing experience. I loved all the escape rooms at this location. Immersive, feels high budget, all the technology related puzzles work properly, puzzles make you think but are fair, and the overall story remains relevant.

This was so fun! Loved the puzzles and set design.

For starters, shouts out game master, Colton, for supplying my gf with a free coffee to bestow her the energy to power through this game as we did two back-to-back. Granted, I wish he offered me one as well, but I’m not as pretty as her, so I suppose that tracks. But in regard to the room, the immersion was great—maybe best yet. The first room had good puzzles, but the second room nearly broke us. We struggled so much that we ended up using 4 hints. Ironically, my gf was able to get us through the more simple rooms that I couldn’t solve for the life of me; however, I solved the final puzzle in the final room by the luck of 100 men. Talk about a come back. With 8 minutes left we still had two puzzles in room 2 as well as the entirety of room 3. All was lost, but that’s when gods of all religions blessed us and we ended up finishing with around 2 minutes remaining. According to the game master, my luck of solving the final puzzle has only been seen 1-2 times in his years as a GM. Overall, a solid 8/10 room.
