Chasm

If you’re looking for a fun night out in Rocklin, you have got to check out the Chasm escape room at Escape Room Rocklin. Honestly, the vibe in this room is incredible. As soon as you walk in, it really feels like you’ve been dropped into an old, dusty mine shaft. The lighting, the sounds, the way the room is built... it all just works. You totally forget you’re in a strip mall in Rocklin for an hour. What I really liked is that it’s not just a bunch of padlocks. There’s a lot of cool technology in the room that makes things happen automatically, which is always a fun surprise. The puzzles are a good mix too—some looking, some thinking, some doing—so everyone in your group gets a chance to feel like a hero. One big tip: don’t bring more than four people. We had a team of two and it was perfect. Any more than four you’d be bumping into each other the whole time in my opinion. Overall, Chasm is a blast. It’s immersive, exciting, and just the right amount of tricky. Whether you’re an escape room pro or a newbie, it’s a great way to spend an hour with friends. Highly recommend!

This room was really spot on with its theme. I think the effects were really cool with the story. I do think MAYBE one or two more puzzles to the game wouldn't hurt the flow of gameplay. I did the room with my fiance only and we still managed to escape. I think 3-4 players would be a good fit for this game room; 5-6 would probably be a little over board. Game master was really polite and informing--A1 service. I definitely recommend trying this room out.

Very fun room sad they will be closing next week gotta try and get in another room with the discount! No hints!

This is just a really fun room. I did this once with my husband, once with my parents, and took one of the kids once as well. Definitely recommend.

I enjoyed the set and the game play. There was one puzzle we got stuck on and the clue to solve it was very hard to understand. I also wish you could take pictures in the room like every other company in the area.

This would be a good room for less experienced and younger puzzlers.

Beat the Room always has solid rooms! The theme of this one was unique and immersive, especially the way the first and second area come together. The puzzles were not overly challenging but still fun. Our only complaint is that one of the hints we were given by the GM was not completely accurate which was a little frustrating.

Best room at beat the room! Set design was immersive. A cool “tech” moment. Fairly linear clue solving. Puzzles not exceptionally challenging but still fun! We actually got out with no hints. Thoroughly enjoyed this room!

Great set design, some fun, memorable parts, but not enough puzzles, even with 3 of us we crushed the room, it took us 33 minutes, and we all agreed at the end that we had wished there was MORE. Also, for $50 a player a 33 minute experience was a little rough.
