The gameplay of this room was incredibly unique! I’ve never seen puzzles quite like these and I’ve done a lot of escape rooms. I really loved seeing something new in an escape room and it was a lot of fun! It was also more challenging for our team of escape room enthusiasts because there were so many types of puzzles that were new to us.
The puzzles in this room were so unique! I’ve done a lot of escape rooms but none that were quite like this.
I usually have the stamina for multiple escape rooms back to back but this one wore my brain out because it was such a unique design. If you plan on doing multiple, I would recommend doing this one last because it might wear you out.
Also, you can choose the level of difficulty that you would like!
Reminiscent of ‘The Goonies’. The additional sound cues and lighting effects were a nice touch.
It is clear that the owner is passionate about his work and he was a great gamemaster.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
I’ve seen a lot of similar themes but the puzzles were very unique.
The story made sense but I’ve seen similar stories before.
You can choose your difficulty so this is really up to you!
Game tech
There were some technical elements and some physical locks.
This game was VERY non-linear. We were trying to divide and conquer but it was a bit difficult with just 3 people. I would recommend 4-6.
Definitely choose a lower difficulty level for younger players.
Physically active
Somewhat
No stairs or crawlspaces but some puzzles required getting on the ground and some puzzles required moving pieces in unique ways.
Accessibility
No stairs or crawlspaces but it may be difficult to access the clues that are close to the ground or on elevated surfaces for players with mobility restrictions.
The entrance is at the back of the building on the lowest level.
