This was our first room here. We were very impressed by the high-caliber theming and decor in both the room and the lobby/common areas. The common areas have a modern design aesthetic very different from the steampunky vibe at most places. The room itself had fantastic decor, theming and props. Completely immersive. Special effects were impressive. A few jump scares which we loved but some people might not like. This is a linear room and story and challenges were well integrated. A few new things we'd never seen before. Very high tech and only a couple of locks. Highly recommend. Can't wait to try more rooms here.

The atmosphere and jump scares of this room are probably the best parts. Our GM, M*, was okay. He was good at voice theatrics, but he was either trying to manage too many rooms at once or was not really paying attention to ours, as he gave us at least two wrong hints on one of the last puzzles, which wasted a lot of time. The "puzzles" in the room are also much more tech-based, but they felt kind of wonky for what they were going for or needed refinement to actually function on their own without GM assistance. Too many of the puzzles are just tedium chores without anything to really solve, so they just make you feel more like they're there to pad out the time to escape the room. There is also a hint tablet that is completely useless in the room, as we tried using it for the puzzle I mentioned before, but it just ended up giving a hint for another puzzle several rooms back. Maybe we just went at a busy time, but it also felt a lot less personal than some other escape rooms we've visited, as we never even met our GM in person. We will probably try other escape rooms or this room at another location before returning to the Orlando one.

I am absolutely gagged by this escape room. This was my first room at this location. The set was so insane and huge. There were so many rooms and I was terrified the entire time. There are lots of jump scares and they are done so well. The special effects were the most impressive I have seen in an escape room yet. The puzzles were very simple and not anything too amazing. This is probably where the room falls short. The puzzles are easy but they can be tedious and difficult to understand the mechanics of. There is one specific puzzle near the end of the room which was super time consuming and tedious. This caused my group to barely finish the room. Our game master was amazing and super helpful. We could tell that he was focused on our game as the clues were extremely helpful and relevant. I am surprised by the negative reviews and I think that this location was able to fix any technical difficulties and problems they originally had after opening.

Nightmare Hotel is well themed and has great puzzle flow and special effects. This is perhaps one of the best haunted/ scary rooms I have done. Expect several jump scares and spooky sound effects and props. Serval ppl in my group got caught by the scares but I loved every one and every moment of it. I highly recommend this room and our GM Jordan, who provided us with one of the best escape room experiences I have had in a while.

Meh… Somewhere in between with this room. It was totally immersive, and had some great ideas. Props however weren’t working and you had to manually open things that should have been automatic once a puzzle was completed correctly. Once these small hiccups are fixed this room will be great.

This game was objectively awful. It is a very tech heavy room and a lot of the tech didn’t work very well. There were several instances when we’d complete a puzzle and stand around looking for something and nothing opened. A voice would then tell us that something was open, or to push/pull on something hard to get it to open. My main complaint with this game is lack of indication. There was nothing in the space to tell you what to do or where to go next. There was also some complicated tech in the game that was needed multiple times that I feel like should’ve been explained in the rules how to use, because learning it in the game took us some time.
