Nightmare Hotel is well themed and has great puzzle flow and special effects. This is perhaps one of the best haunted/ scary rooms I have done. Expect several jump scares and spooky sound effects and props. Serval ppl in my group got caught by the scares but I loved every one and every moment of it. I highly recommend this room and our GM Jordan, who provided us with one of the best escape room experiences I have had in a while.
Great puzzle flow and just the right amount of challenging.
Everything was well themed and some of the special effects were above and beyond expectation.
Our GM Jordan made sure we all had a great experience.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
This was a very tech heavy, horror themed room with some theatrical elements I have not seen before. Although it's not the most original concept or story, I think it deserves special attention for it's use of effects.
Typical haunted hotel story. However, the way the story unfolds is impressive in my opinion.
Mostly straight forward puzzles with a few twist here and there.
Very few locks and keys. Love the special effects.
4 would be good but I would say 6 max due to one part being a small room. There are times where the puzzles bottleneck a little.
If you're easily scared this room will get you several times. Personally jump scare rarely get me but others in my group Def jumped and screamed a few times.
Some adult themes and horror components. Gory props and dimly lit rooms with spooky sounds effects.
Everything seemed to work great.
The GM does do some voices to add to the experience and provide clues when needed.
Physically active
Not at all
Unless you scare easily. Then, there's jumping involved. Lol.
Accessibility
Very dimly lighted room.
In the mail close to Dillards.
Florida mall can be tricky depending on time of day and week.
