37 escape rooms
This was a fun room, albeit a bit run down. I’m not sure if it still exists under new ownership but it had some solid puzzles and a good atmosphere.
35 escape rooms
The puzzles were generally well thought out and flowed well. Most puzzles involved making connections in the room. One number puzzle overstayed it’s welcome and we ended up busting out the phone calculators to solve it. The game soared when the interactions felt like we were actually scavenging and innovating in this fallout world. Two prop interactions in particular really made us feel like we were using our ingenuity to solve a problem. However, some prop failure and difficult input systems made some moments that could have been novel feel a little lackluster (especially when the game master had to interrupt a particularly engaging team moment to explain to us how to navigate a heavy/potentially dangerous set piece). Overall, great ideas, but maybe some refinement needed on the physical manifestation of said ideas.

The set was great and very interesting. The silo in the middle was novel and made the space fun to play in. However, some prop interactions felt clunky. I saw what the company was trying to do (and a lot of it was very cool), but because of some wear/tear on some of the props as well as some difficult to use devices, we had some moments that broke the flow of the game. One prop interaction was joyful and novel.
Game master had a great sense of humor!
5
This game is definitely intended for a large group due to the size of the set.

“Every puzzle honored the Fallout theme and was well matched to that world.“
