Magical Might of Mystical Mike

A small, single-room game. There is a good variety of puzzles given the size of the game. The lighting was dark and made it difficult to open a few locks. Some props felt out of place, but overall we had fun

We have done a few escape rooms. This is a smaller one, but I felt that the puzzles were challenging enough. I did like that the host didn’t prompt as much as in some rooms I have been to (sometimes I feel like it’s intrusive). There was one puzzle we just guessed at and got, but I feel like that’s what made it a fun challenge.

There were certain items that were not reset so the game master hadnt even checked to make sure everything was properly reset prior to our session. The room itself is ONLY one room which is odd for escape rooms in todays age. The quality of props and the room itself seems like items found from a dumpster and put together. Very cheap. The host is nice enough, but a little too heavy on the star trek references considering it's not part of the lore of the room. The puzzles are disorganized and the solution for some still dont make sense in hindsight (we had to randomly guess for multiple sections). This is supposed to be the more challenging room of the two and it was poorly done. Will not be back to do the other. It seems like the business owner is 15 years too late to the original cash grab business model of early escape rooms.

Very creative and fun! The game host dresses up in character when asking for hints! Cool guy, fun room, check it out!
