Very nice set with a unusual and playful aesthetic, but marred by public bookings and some puzzles that could have been better. I know the risk with public bookings, but figured that booking an empty game an hour before it started would still have good odds, especially given the schedule had seemed empty for the past week. Nope, a group of 4 also thought this would be a good opportunity and slipped in during the intervening time. Fortunately they were nice and reasonably experienced, but public bookings are definitely a risk. There's an (IMHO) unreasonable amount of search early on in the game, and we accidentally sequence broke twice - once we got so lucky we didn't even realize there was a puzzle, and once something opened before it should have. I thought two puzzles felt under-signposted. The GM was spotty - early on we wanted a hint but couldn't get his attention, but later in the game he was (IMHO) overly aggressive with nudges, even though I don't think we were stuck long enough to get frustrated and ended up finishing with plenty of time to spare (in fact, he claimed we set the record, though it didn't feel to me like that should be true). Lighting, especially early in the game, was a little darker than I would have liked. Audio during cutscenes was also a little soft and unclear. I'd be happy to come back and try their other games, but I'd want to aim for a slow weekday.

Rating: 4/5 - Cool artistic style, appropriately creepy with lots of tech Pros: ➕Immersive, high budget set decorated floor to ceiling ➕Numerous custom props, easter eggs for the designer's other rooms, and fun nostalgia ➕Enjoyable storyline and puzzles that fit the theme ➕Just about everything was tech, I don't recall any padlocks. The tech had tactile/physical interactions. ➕Unique intro and satisfying ending ➕More than a single room, multiple areas to explore ➕GM was friendly and helpful when needed Room for improvement: ➖One significant tech feature was mostly non-functional. It didn't harm any of the puzzle solving but caused a cool reveal to be spoiled early. They told me that they are working on replacing/repairing this tech item. ➖A bit on the easy side, wish the puzzles were a bit more challenging. But it's good for beginners or solo players. ➖Public bookings by default, private costs extra I'd recommend teams of 1-3 enthusiasts, I finished solo with around 20 min left and minimal help from the GM. The game is mostly creepy with no major jump scares, just some minor startles. There is no blood/gore, it's more like Scooby-Doo style. My ranking of the games I played here starting with my favorite: 1. Masters of Magic (play at Pigeon Forge location since it is newer and bigger) 2. Boogeyman 3. Haunting of Hyde House 4. Big Maw Bertha's Fussin' & A' Feudin' Moonshine Hill Hootenanny

I completed this room solo. While there weren’t many puzzles, the story and setting were highly immersive, with a playfully dark tone.

This was such an interesting room, it felt like you were in a kid’s room in an animated movie. It was a little creepy and super fun! The game master, Zane, did a great job!

Really well done and immersive room. Had some fantastic set construction. The only reason I couldn’t quite heart this one was for a few puzzles at the end of the game. I believe they are working on making these better, but the puzzles and cluing at the end fell a little flat. It is not a hard game. In fact it would be better suited for beginners. But if you love immersion, you will love this game.

Had so much fun playing this game. Nice combination of logic solves and activity based puzzles. Also high quality set design. I personally didn’t consider this game scary (we choose not to do horror or haunted and had no issues with this) and we had our daughter with us too. She loved it and solved alot of things.

I never thought I would be so excited to be kidnapped by the Boogeyman. This room is an absolute must play if you find yourself in this area. The set design alone is amazing and the room transitions are *chefs kiss.* Maddy, our GM, was amazing and fairly hands off, letting us struggle a bit to get there eventually in the best way, we really appreciated it.
