Very nice set with a unusual and playful aesthetic, but marred by public bookings and some puzzles that could have been better. I know the risk with public bookings, but figured that booking an empty game an hour before it started would still have good odds, especially given the schedule had seemed empty for the past week. Nope, a group of 4 also thought this would be a good opportunity and slipped in during the intervening time. Fortunately they were nice and reasonably experienced, but public bookings are definitely a risk. There's an (IMHO) unreasonable amount of search early on in the game, and we accidentally sequence broke twice - once we got so lucky we didn't even realize there was a puzzle, and once something opened before it should have. I thought two puzzles felt under-signposted. The GM was spotty - early on we wanted a hint but couldn't get his attention, but later in the game he was (IMHO) overly aggressive with nudges, even though I don't think we were stuck long enough to get frustrated and ended up finishing with plenty of time to spare (in fact, he claimed we set the record, though it didn't feel to me like that should be true). Lighting, especially early in the game, was a little darker than I would have liked. Audio during cutscenes was also a little soft and unclear. I'd be happy to come back and try their other games, but I'd want to aim for a slow weekday.
