A day after it started happening, we figured out the why, but I am not sure it really made a difference. Every January the earth comes under its greatest gravitational pull from the Sun, a status referred to as perihelion. This, the positioning of the moon, and a slight change in magma movement around the earth, has resulted in one of the greatest period of earthquakes ever recorded and touched off the Great Burning. Over ten super-volcanoes have emerged, including the Caldera of Yellowstone and Taupo Caldera in New Zealand. Over the next two months half of the atmosphere was blacked out and the difficulty truly began. For the past couple of years, the sun disappears for 4 months at a time and the atmosphere becomes unbreathable. So...we go underground...we store food and recycle our air. We are connected to other communities of people in an area we refer to as Trader Town. After descending under the surface into our Bunker 30 days ago, we have realized there is a problem with our CO2 filtering. We know the CO2 Scrubber is broken and our CO2 levels are already dangerously high. We need to trade to get a new filter...and we need to do it now! Our network of Bunkers often trade for needed supplies, and the trade values of invaluable commodities fluctuate daily. Our dependency on trading to survive is what has dubbed us all as Trader Town. It appears we may only have oxygen left for a little while longer... we must act quickly! There are vital items here that other Bunker people need, but we have to find the locations that will trade with us for supplies that we need to make our repairs. We have canisters of emergency oxygen available, but locked behind several high security protocols. We'll work to access those canisters, while also working to trade within Trader Town. Our tasks are great, and our survival depends on our success!

323 escape rooms

Rating: 3/5 - Solid room for Indiana with a good set, but middling puzzles I have mixed feelings about this company since they often have very frustrating puzzles, but this room is one of their better ones. No red herrings, outside knowledge, math, etc. like some of their other rooms. Puzzles were mostly fair and not too difficult though kinda forgettable, there was a runbook which I generally dislike. It was a mix of padlocks and simple tech (buttons, lights, maglocks) and some nice tactile/physical interactions. I did really like the set, it felt like a bunker with many details and multiple rooms to explore. The trading function was also unique and pretty fun to do. Our team of 5 completed it with 8 min left and one minor nudge. I'd recommend sticking to the 4 minimum as 5 felt like too many.
