RockBand

Hands down, the worst escape room I've ever done. It was literally 80 degrees in the room. We had to prop the door open the entire time. Several puzzles and music cues did not work. We escaped, even with all these issues in about 25 minutes.

This room had a lot of potential. The GMs were friendly and played their part, but there were puzzles that were broken and required that they give us codes verbally. I liked the overall atmosphere and it was definitely easy. A good room for an experienced escaper to take a newbie. It could use an update but overall the lower price made us feel we weren’t ripped off.

The room would be good for a first time play. It’s linear, very few puzzles and simple task-oriented. There were three of us. We didn’t realize the game was over when we completed it because it was short. The entrance was not clear - stood at the gate, tried to call the number to find out how to get in, ring the doorbell, knocked - roamed around for about 10 minutes before anyone came out. If you’ve played a couple of escape rooms before, I would skip this. It was a dissatisfying. They are closing the room soon, but I would not recommend it.

We had such a fun time! The puzzles were creative, immersive, and just the right level of challenging. The atmosphere really pulled us into the story, and everything felt well-designed from start to finish. Huge shoutout to the game masters, Matt and Julian! They were super friendly, explained everything clearly, and made the whole experience even better. Their hints were perfectly timed and kept the game exciting without giving too much away. Also, special shoutout to Jimmy for helping us in our music recording journey — we appreciate all the support and guidance along the way!

We had an awesome time playing Rock Band! Bree was such a fun game master and helped us along. We felt fully immersed and the real instruments were such a great touch. The room had a lot of really cool elements and we loved it! It is a great beginner room and very family friendly. I would recommend the room for 3-4 people max and 2 for experienced players. Ask for Bree as your game master!

This game has a lot of potential! There were elements that were really cool (interacting with the instruments in the room, etc.) and felt really on-theme for the RockBand theme, but I also felt like my group (having collectively done almost 100 escape rooms) definitely found ourselves overthinking things. Also, a lot of the elements of the room are triggered by the GM on the other side of the cameras, so it’s definitely dependent on if you have an attentive enough GM! Our GM was Will, and he was great! We also had a lock that the previous reset must have missed, and he was super apologetic and came in to fix it right away! Super helpful even though he was really busy last night!! Thank you Will!! Logistics-wise, the mode of communication/receiving hints was through a walkie-talkie, and our GM guided us which was helpful because we were overthinking to the max! Definitely a good room for beginners, but not a favorite for me! We chose it because my brother is a drummer and we were celebrating his birthday, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this room granted the price and the small amount of puzzles! I would recommend their other rooms over this one if you’re experienced, but if you’re looking for an entry-level room this one is super fun!

This is a very solid room by Escapade. I played this room solo, but I think it would be best experienced with a small group of friends. Part of the novelty of this room is that you get to mess around with the real instruments in the room during the game. It wasn't a very difficult room, which they note, but a fun one.

This room was one of the more immersive rooms I’ve done. It truly felt like walking into a recording studio to get ready for the battle of the bands. With the help from our roadie we were able to escape fairly easily. It’s one of the easier rooms we’ve done as the puzzles weren’t complex or hard to understand. The beginning was slightly hard to get started but once we got going it was easy to find the next puzzle to solve. We loved all of the technical aspects of the room and getting to play instruments. No musical experience/ knowledge is needed! Super beginner friendly and a fun atmosphere. This company does hold Zoe reborn so sometimes in the waiting room we could hear the music through the walls. Our GMs were great and Clover was so nice to answer all of our questions about Zoe when we finished our own room.

The room was a great idea but it was way to simple and some of the mechanics didn’t work well. May be good for a first time room but if you are at all experienced, I would skip this room
