Strings, the bloody strings that always controlled the little wooden boy. Oh, those strings have now been cut, and now he needs to come back to where it all started. He needs to stop Gepetto, and free all of the trapped souls. A horror escape room by the award-winning creators of Zoe: Reborn, inspired by the classic tale.

I highly recommend playing this room to warm yourself up for Zoe! It’s a great intro scary room and not physical at all. The puzzles were mildly challenging but solvable and interactive. Highly recommend a group of 4-6
Amazing set
Christina the owner was fantastic and Matt our actor was thrilling

Much more of an immersive experience than an escape room. I don’t know if we were just dumb but I felt like either some puzzles were cut or we just completely skipped the puzzles but we were told to do one task and then it would get completely abandoned and the answer was just given to us. However, the set design was great as well as our actor and GM! Would recommend as a first to get into “scary” escape rooms but if you go into the mindset of figuring out a lot of puzzles in this room, you’ll be a bit disappointed with the lack of puzzles. And shoutout to Willie the cat.

“They’ve got no strings on me!” Words cannot describe how much fun this room was to play! To those of you who are new to “scary” themed escape rooms, this would be the perfect one for you. What this escape room does well is the smooth blending of puzzles with the experience of a live actor and the integration of puzzles within storytelling. I would describe this as more of an experience than your typical escape room, but this is what makes it more interactive and exhilarating! There is a live actor, but the most the actor will do is physically move/place you. He will never drag or engage in full contact play like other escape rooms will. After coming from Krampus (the Christmas version of Zoe Reborn at Escapades), Pinocchio is very tame in comparison. If you’re looking for a fun starter to a scary escape room, go play Pinocchio! It will leave you laughing, running, and wanting more!
The gameplay was a lot of fun to interact with. It was very linear but had a lot of fun parts with it. Once again, I would describe this more as an experience than your typical escape room because of the decreased number of puzzles, but the pressure to complete the puzzles is heightened due to the fear factor of Gepetto walking balances out the limited puzzles to solve.
The set design was impressive and creative! With the physical space that this escape room had, they did a great job at making you feel like you were immersed in the story of Pinocchio. From the background music and sounds, the creakiness of the floors, and the dim lighting, you were a puppet on the run!
We had Matt and Ross, and they were both AMAZING Game Masters! They made the experience so much fun, interactive, and just plain funny! What I loved too was the hint system because it was perfectly intertwined with the atmosphere of Pinocchio and blended well with the tasks that you needed to complete. Very helpful, humorous, and interactive.

The set decoration is immaculate and such good use of space. Perfect for my group of 5. The puzzles were straight forward, yet fun to solve and unlike any I have seen before. It was not as physical as Zoe, but we knew that going into it. I would say the scares are just as scary but without the physicalness. I highly recommend if you’re not quite ready for Zoe: reborn to play this game first and get your foot in the door. This game was so much fun and had us scared and laughing. Shout out to Matt our Geppetto!

My group and I always have a fun experience an Escapade games. So when we heard that Pinocchio was open, we had to play it! Super fun, our game master was awesome on making sure we had an amazing experience even though we were late (30 minutes). Even with our tardiness, it didn’t feel rushed. So huge thanks for that! Overall, you know if you want scary, you can count on the creators of Escapade to make it happen!

6.5/10 It’s fun. If you go with the right people this experience will be more than what it is. For an escape room, it’s not much. Only a few puzzles in a small space. Knowing that going in, play along, don’t take it so seriously, and walk away laughing with your team.
