Wizard Academy

Rating: 3/5 - Small but enjoyable room with magical moments. For a 30 min game, I liked this. It's only a single room but they have a good amount of puzzles packed in there. The puzzles are mostly padlock based and on the easier side (but not too easy). This is a room the owners purchased (I think it was originally designed as a pop-up tent) but they really elevated the experience by adding magical feeling tech using wands and a couple of larger set pieces. We played as a team of 2 enthusiasts and finished with around 8 min left. We needed a maybe a couple of nudges for things we missed when searching. My ranking of the rooms I've played here starting with my favorite: 1. & 2. Cows in Space 1 & 2, I can't decide which one I like more 3. Nightmare in Pink 4. Decent 30 minute beginner-friendly room although we didn’t find it too easy and finished with around 8 minutes left. They told us that this room was purchased but that they heavily modified it. The updates they made were appropriate and definitely makes the experience more immersive and fun. Apparently they are going to make more additions and eventually turn it into a 60 minute room. I wouldn’t say that this is a must play; it’s really designed to be an intro to escape rooms and I think it gets the job done. First-timers will have a blast. Love the riddles they where all on brand and I love how you get your own wand it is not to hard and not to easy perfect for beginners

Real fun room where you have to prove that you have magical talent by activating things in the Wizards School.
