Spooky room but not overly scary. Nothing to write home about but still worth a go if you need an escape room hit.

The old Frank M. Heights apartment building lost funding during its remodel nearly a decade ago and has since sat abandoned. Rumors say a horror fiction-obsessed murderer uses the building as his playground for twisted acts of torture. When a bad storm rolls through, you can almost hear screams coming from the building over the sounds of thunder. It’s time to find out if there’s any truth to the tales within. Just as you pass the 'No Trespassing' signs, you look up to find a terrible thunderstorm approaching. Once inside, you follow whispers from the walls; echoes from a victim captured by the deranged squatter that holds dominance over this forgotten town eyesore. You quickly become the next plaything to the murder-obsessed individual, locked in a closet like sitting ducks awaiting your fate. Welcome to “ECHOES AT MURDER HEIGHTS”!

Very fun game. The live actor makes the experience way better. People told me this room was extremely scary, but it really wasn’t scary at all. There is a solo moment, which I didn’t particularly think was super unique. If you miss it, it’s not a big deal. This room is full of very unique, cool puzzles that I had a blast working through. This is my ranking of all the rooms I’ve done at this location: 1. Echoes at Murder Heights 2. Bigfoot 3. Doomsday 4. Curse of the Mummy

We enjoyed this escape room a great deal. Puzzle Corp offers unlimited “hints” - they want players to escape - and it helped us several times. This escape room is horror/scare-filled. It’s creepy and while the story line is a little bumpy, it’s original, and scary. Inspiration for the room clearly came from classic horror stories/novels and there are some fun nods to these classics. The space is tight - I don’t recommend more than 4 ppl at a time. We liked we could keep our phones with us - and used our flashlight a couple of times Overall, a great room and immersive experience.
We are not (yet) escape room experts so we struggled a bit with a few puzzles. After our experience the staff member showed us where we got tripped up - it was a true “ah ha” moment and made us appreciate the game play even more.

The horror element of this game was fun and unexpected. Loved the live actors moments.

All of the above here - tactile puzzles and locks, elements of turning things on and off. Thrilling use of lights, original soundtrack, story line told well through effects.

The spaces are tight. The first room in particular would be hard with 4 ppl but 4 minds definitely help solve the game.

So so well done and it’s clear a lot of care goes into setting each room up for players.
Yes
Wish we had a video of one scare moment.
Not at all
This is a tight escape room. Would be very very hard for wheelchair. Not sure if there is a secondary entrance through a “crawling” moment.

Conveniently located on International Drive.

Good room. We had a really good time. There are some red hearings that were a little bit frustrating but overall the game flowed well. We were not on our a game playing this so that was kind of frustrating for us but overall we enjoyed the game. The actor was not too much and did not distract from the game. I would recommend this game.

This room was a last minute addition to our Florida escape room trip but I'm so glad that we added it to the itinerary! I wasn't expecting this game to be as scary as it was and as a horror fan, I loved it. I would highly recommend this room but I will warn you that it is less "tech-y" than many of the other rooms in Orlando.

The puzzles were fun but there were times when the non-linear nature of this room was a bit more confusing than anything else. It wasn't always clear which puzzle should be tackled next. There were also a couple of puzzles that felt as if they could use some retouching (specifically one where our team had to hold pieces in place because they wouldn't stay on their own).
The atmosphere wasn't super elaborate or high tech but it was effective at conveying the location and driving the story forward.
The GM was welcoming and helpful throughout the room. I think that my biggest gripe with this escape room was the fact that they still use walkie talkies to give hints...we kept having to ask for hints to be repeated because we couldn't hear them. The GM was great but the hint system could stand an update.
Yes
I've done games with similar themes before but this game was more interactive.
The story was relatively generic but the design and interactive nature of the game make this room stand apart from the others.
Hard
Our team found this game to be pretty challenging specifically because we didn't always know which puzzle to work on next. It was also pretty easy to miss important details in this room which tripped us up a couple of times.
Mechanical
The majority of this room is comprised of physical locks.

The rooms in this game are pretty small. I wouldn't recommend more than 4 people for this game.
Scary
I didn't know how interactive this game was when we signed up. I expected this room to be spooky but not scary and it was more intense than I had anticipated. It's not the scariest room that I've ever done but it's probably in the top 10 scariest that I've done. It was a nice surprise because I love scary rooms!

This room would have scared me when I was younger and I probably wouldn't have been able to focus on any of the puzzles. I would probably recommend 16+ but maybe younger if the person really likes horror and isn't bothered by haunted houses.
No
Nothing was completely broken but some aspects of this room could certainly stand to be retouched.
Yes
There is no touching/chasing but there are a couple of jump scares.
Somewhat
All members of the party must be able to crawl into one of the rooms.
I would not recommend this room for players with mobility restrictions due to the small spaces and the crawling that is required of all players. Some puzzles utilize color and some puzzles utilize sound.

This is for sure a good room and I would be happy if every room I played were as good as this one. There were a couple of things I didn’t care for and a couple I really liked. I didn’t realize there were going to be live actors in the room until after I booked it (which is my fault, not the establishments), so I was not in the proper mindset, which I feel did affect my enjoyment, again my fault not theirs. I would recommend.
It was good, some interesting puzzles. A few multi step puzzles, which I enjoy in a room.
Creepy and tight. Similar style theming as to most serial killer rooms with the exception of the first room. Nothing to complain about and nothing out of the ordinary to call attention to, but it is well themed.
Treated well. However, it did seem a bit understaffed for the amount of groups that were there. Took awhile for staff to come to counter and get us into the room. Not a big deal though because we got our full time.
No
Not really. Nothing bad just nothing I had not seen before with the exception of one puzzle (which I did enjoy quite a bit)
Pretty decent story

Some parts are pretty tight and I’m not sure there is enough to work on at once with more than 4.
Scary
Definitely scary and the scary parts were well done. There is definitely one scary part that COULD be over the line for SOME groups.

I don’t know how well your kids take to horror/scares. Mine do just fine but this is too much for MOST kids. Plus, the set design is just not kid friendly.
No
I’m not sure, there was one puzzle I thought was broken but the rest of my group did not think it was broken. Either way it was solvable for us. And there is a really good chance it was intentional, which did make sense for the room. Hard to explain without spoiling.
Yes
There was a live actor through out the game, which did enhance the experience.
Somewhat
There is a part everyone will have to climb over something
I’m guessing there is a by-pass for the part people have to climb over, but I would check with the staff. A bit too tight for wheel chairs as well I’m guessing. Again I would contact the staff first.

Great room. Very fun and scary but not too crazy. Did it with two and finished with about 10 min left. Recommend it
