Nearly a decade ago, the old Frank M. Heights apartment building remodel lost funding and has since sat abandoned. Supposedly, a horror fiction-obsessed murderer uses the building as a playground for his twisted acts of torture. Locals whisper that when passing by the apartment building – the faint screams of the victims can be heard echoing deep from within… hence the nickname, “Murder Heights”!

Overall, a great room, with some good spooks! The actual scares aren’t TOO bad, and even for a jumpier person like me, they were pretty fun! This was my first room at Puzzle Corp, and I throughly enjoyed their puzzles! They were pretty tricky, yet very satisfying once completed. Nothing felt tedious to me, or unnecessary. We used a few hints on some of the tricker puzzles when we had our little brain farts, but I don’t think we needed them too too much. Lastly, the set design was very cool! The room looked good for what it was. Though not the absolute best room I’ve ever seen, it was definitely good quality with good quality props and textures!

This room was phenomenal!!! I don’t wanna spoil it for anyone so just go!! 10/10 would recommend!!!!! The room was well designed and appropriately themed!! It had a great deal of locks but very doable with a group of 3 or more of seasoned escape room goers. The game master was amazing and the jump scares and overall spookiness of this room was GREAT!!! Cause we seek out scary rooms!! So this was great!! And you get the best surprise of all, but you gotta try the room to find out!! Just go!! Definitely in the top 3 of escape rooms we’ve done!

Echoes at Murder Heights delivers a vibrant, retro 1980-90s slasher-themed environment that leans heavily into immersive storytelling and nostalgic, campy fun. The set design is highly detailed, effectively utilizing neon aesthetics and tactile, period-accurate props to establish a cohesive and engaging atmosphere. The gameplay features a largely non-linear structure, providing a diverse range of mechanically driven puzzles that allow the team to divide and conquer without creating frustrating bottlenecks. A particular highlight for me was a unique, interactive mechanic where one team member had to use a specific prop to progress the game; it was a brilliantly different and genuinely spooky experience for that isolated player, but absolutely hilarious for the rest of us who got to listen to them scream. Overall, the puzzle logic flows very well with clear signposting directly connecting to the overarching narrative, making it a highly enjoyable and memorable cooperative experience for groups who appreciate a well-executed retro theme.

We loved the room and the atmosphere. Some puzzles were unique. We took too much time in some parts and left us rushing to finish. Highly recommend doing this room! One of our favorites in a long time.

Solid spooky room with some live actor jump scares here and there but not overtly scary. Definitely a tight space that was perfect for the 2 of us but don’t recommend more than 4. The puzzles were unique and the right amount of challenging… we escaped with less than a minute left! This was a last minute addition to our trip and we’re glad we did it, definitely check it out if you’re in the area looking for a scary challenge!

This room made me physically sick. The first area had a very strong artificial smell and I had to remove myself from the space multiple times because I was very close to throwing up. Puzzles were decent (though honestly, forgettable) but I could not puzzle properly because of my physical discomfort.
