You and your team are members of an elite SWAT unit, tasked with arresting one of the most sadistic killers the world has ever known: Edward Tandy. After years of evading capture, this notorious serial killer has finally been tracked to his lair, a twisted space filled with his personal obsessions and gruesome creations. But here’s the problem: Edward knows you’re coming. He’s been watching you, listening to your every move, and preparing for this moment. The walls of The Aviary aren't just filled with his sinister trophies – they’re rigged with puzzles and traps designed to torment, confuse, and delay anyone who dares to challenge him. It’s a game for him, and the stakes are your lives. In this pulse-pounding experience, you’ll need to rely on your team’s tactical prowess, unflinching bravery, and seamless communication to make it out alive. Time is running out. Will you bring Edward to justice, or will you become another part of his macabre collection?

Definitely harder than you think it will be. Would be good idea to have two people in the control room and two or three in large pitch dark room. It was fun but not my favorite room for sure.
A little tough to hear through the headsets. Also having to push button and wait to talk took some getting used to. The spooky music in background was a little too loud.

This was fun. We made it up on the leaderboard as a team of two, so I don't feel like this is very hard, but it's definitely time consuming, and I can see how if communication is bad or there are a ton of people trying to talk at once this would be difficult. It wasn't harder than the original Basement room, which we have escape but not with much time remaining. It was still really fun, I wouldn't do it with more than 4 people, but I think there's a hard version so maybe with that. Was it the best room ever? No. But it was very linear and would be a fun one to play with newbies.
VERY linear
Not as immersive as the other Basement room

Another great experience at The Basement. I’d caution against larger groups for this one, maybe keep it at 8 or fewer. Puzzles can really only be worked on one at a time and those who aren’t working on the active puzzle don’t really have anything to do but stand around in the dark.
Unique gameplay.
Top notch atmosphere and set design as usual for The Basement stories.
Welcoming, friendly, fun.

There is plenty of room for the full 12 players but I think there is a bit of standing around when the group is larger.
Spooky

Unlike the other Basement experiences, I actually think this one would be fine for younger players as long as they aren’t scared of the dark,

A extremely unique experience! One that takes your senses into a wild ride (besides taste) A little different not having a live actor in the room, however overall it’s very much so an escape room experience like no other.
