Salem 1692 - Spellweaver

Like all the other adventures that this business offers this one is also a standout. It takes the best of escape rooms and then throws in some live theater and a touch of haunted house to give everyone 90 minutes of fun. Highly recommend.

Gameplay was decent - I felt like some stuff was a bit confusing (not in the good puzzle way, but more like the “well that made no sense” way). The decor and theme at Nightwalker is always the star of the show. Another beautiful room with amazing decorations and design. Innovative and unique set pieces always make these feel special and different. Room was dark and we were advised to use our phone flashlights which I don’t love - I prefer leaving all stuff behind and having full immersion. If flashlights are necessary, I think they should be provided in a theme-accurate way (Like the headlamps on helmets in the other room). Lastly, I felt like some stuff in this room felt *too* fragile. It made it tough to know what you could touch and look through and what needed to be left alone. I definitely got delayed on puzzles because I was afraid to touch/break certain set pieces.

We've done 3 of their rooms and I think we are spoiled by the way they go all out when designing and building their rooms. They're just about the biggest rooms around and the incredible story line carries throughout the space. They build all their own props so the whole thing start to finish is unique and unlike anything you'll see any where else. They are really into tech based puzzles so don't expect a bunch of combination lock puzzles. This game has its scary moments but its done with the story and they never put you in the dark to scare you. There are actors in the room and we really enjoyed how we also got to play a part. This room is a must do for anyone looking for unique puzzle and gamestyle.

We headed back to Nightwalker Caverns to check out this room after really enjoying 2 of their other rooms previously. Their set design and atmosphere continue to be amazing with the immersion. It was a bit tough as there's a good amount of high tech and sensors in rooms that don't always work. This was still a good one if you're looking for a witch themed spooky room.

Storyline followed to perfection. Immersive and innovative puzzles, live actors, 90 minutes of overall best room around.

I love Nightwalker Caverns rooms. I bring my family and friends quite a bit. Nobody and I mean nobody has rooms like theirs in San Diego.

Halloween weekend wouldn't have been complete without a witch story and what could be better than going back in time and put on trial for witchcraft. The actor in the room made sure we had to play our part which was really fun. We've never done a room like this before and it was over the top both in set and game play.

I love this escape room. The effects were over the top. The game play was flowing and fun. I will be back for all of their rooms. So much fun.

This room has replaced the former “Tuts Rut”room at Nightwalker Caverns. They do not disappoint, and really a must-do in SD. Such unique and memorable experience.
