MUCH better than I expeted, given the negative reviews it got from enthusiasts when it opened in summer 2025. Playing it a year later (summer 2026), it was a fun, smooth-flowing experience, with nicely decorated sets. I conclude Enigma Quest have apparently worked out the bugs. It's a fun, solidly-implemented example of a heist theme, with a few original ideas and some fun moments. The only remaining problem is sound bleed; at a few points, we were distracted by noise from neighbouring rooms. I don't want to oversell the experience. This isn't TERPECA worthy, and it's not the top tier of London games. But it can hold its head up high within the second tier.

We didn't need hints during the room, so I can't judge that-- but at the end, the GM had a very thoughtful breakdown of our gameplay which showed she was paying close attention.

The story and therefore the room made no sense. The game masters did not care, and you could hear clues being read out in other rooms that made no sense. They were 10 minutes late for our booking without an apology and we were not told how we did once finished.

Puzzles where not set up well

Atmosphere

You could hear the other escape rooms breaking the flow, at the end you can choose your ending but because it was unclear you didn't actually get to choose what you wanted.

Customer service

Late, did not introduce themselves, spoke to us like we were stupid even though there room was broken e.g. we were belittled for not matching the chess pieces correctly when the correct chess pieces where not present. Also not told how we did at the end.

Story

Did not flow or make sense, we were in an art gallery, then a kids room, a vault then downing street and then another vault.
