Cosmic Crisis

So, I don’t want to add any ratings because this is a temporary problem, but this room doesn’t seem like it was play tested enough to be open to the public. Great theming, interesting puzzles and amazing use of tech! But our game was plagued with technical issues that wasted time (so we didn’t escape, even though we figured it all out) and really frustrated our group. I’ve done rooms with issues and hey, it happens! Usually the GM will add some time on to make up for what time was lost, and it’s no big deal! But we had 5 tech failures, and didn’t get any extra time, so… it was pretty bad. I’ve done three other rooms by TEG in NYC, and know how good they are, sang their praises to our friends who came with us tonight. But I feel like they may have rushed to open by fall break, and this room wasn’t there yet. That being said, I’m still excited for the addition to the local escape room scene and know they’ll work out the kinks! I just hope they do it soon, because these are the kind of issues that turn new players off of escape rooms.

Well themed room. Very tech oriented and one of my favorite rooms from The Escape Game.
