The Subway

Was super excited to play this game given the unique theme and set however we left disappointed. The main reason why I’m giving this a thumbs down is prior to entering the room we were told that there’s only three hints available and if we’d like more, we’d have to like/follow the company on social media. In general, really not a fan of gating the number of hints but the push for social media engagement felt super disingenuous. The room is cool and immersive, the set design is impressive and feels authentic. However, the amount of puzzles and the difficulty are really lacking in this room. Me and my husband finished in about 35 minutes. If you’re a seasoned player I don’t think you’ll find what you’re looking for out of this room. Overall would recommend skipping this experience.

This is Escape This Frederick’s best room! You can really tell they stepped up their game for this one! The set, the storyline, and the attention to detail creates such an immersive and energetic experience! There were several cool new tech locks in there and the puzzles honestly blew my mind a bit with their creativity! Everything was well put together and this room should not be missed!

An unexpected gem of a room! Very high production value and a story that is made to be believable. The story fit the puzzles exceptionally well and flowed nicely. The game masters were exceptionally kind and friendly (though I don’t remember your names! I’m sorry!). This game makes this venue certainly worth a visit.

This is a new room so everything was in perfect working order. Good puzzles and a lot of fun but it was quite easy and we finished with a lot of time left.

This room was amazing! First of all, this place never disappoints. Their newest subway room is definitely the most immersive room they have and one of my favorite rooms of all time. It has super fun and interesting puzzles, and the right difficulty for everyone. I wish I could say more but this whole room is a surprise. It is must try for any escape room player.
