This was a very fun room! The set design here is fantastic, both inside and outside the rooms. The puzzles were fun and inventive, and relied on some clever problem solving and team communication! So many of the puzzles were unique, and I was very excited about them the entire time. The puzzle chain for this room was very linear, so the entire team had to work on one puzzle at a time together. A majority of the locks in the room are 4-number codes, so after each puzzle we ended up having to split up and try our code on each one individually, which is a little tedious. Some puzzles felt a little over engineered to end up in a 4-number codes, when they might have been more intuitive as a letter combination or similar. One puzzle does use AI generated images, which I was not a fan of. My group of 3 set the all-time leaderboard high score! The team there was very generous, and sent us off with an escape room board game as a prize, which was surprising and very touching. Our GM was absolutely fantastic, hopping in to help when a puzzle went a little awry! Overall, I would highly recommend Crisis and will absolutely be returning. This room seems very good for beginners, and is good fun for anyone!

We truly appreciate the detailed feedback as well. You’re absolutely right about the number of 4-digit locks in Giggles. It was one of our earlier room designs, and since then we’ve been much more intentional about diversifying lock types and answer formats in our newer rooms. We completely understand how repeatedly testing codes can feel tedious, and it’s something we’ve already improved upon moving forward. We do hope to revisit Giggles in the future to refine that flow and reduce some of that repetition. Regarding the images mentioned; those were pulled from Google during design and were not intentionally AI-generated. We understand the concern and appreciate you pointing it out. We’re so glad you still had such a fun experience and that the puzzles kept you excited throughout. It truly means a lot. We can’t wait to have you back for another thrilling adventure!
