89 escape rooms
An experience heavily focused on puzzles, but with little immersion We tried this room as a pair, hoping for an immersive adventure… but instead we found ourselves facing a series of standalone puzzles, with no real storyline to tie them together. There are about a dozen puzzles to solve, each leading to a six-digit combination to enter. It’s clearly designed for fans of pure logic: those who enjoy racking their brains without needing a narrative thread. We ended up working on our own for almost an hour, barely exchanging words, because the puzzles were so isolated from one another. We barely made it in time, so the challenge is definitely there. I’d recommend this room to those looking for a mental challenge, but less so to those who, like us, enjoy immersing themselves in a story and feeling a real connection between the puzzles and the world presented.
