School of Magic

Overall pretty good room. Not my favorite from this company, but still an extremely solid room with some interesting puzzles. I liked the elements incorporated into the room, it really helped with the theming. I would maybe recommend having a louder sound or lights flashing when something opens/happens. We had no idea a door opened and we were kind of just standing around until we realized it. We were treated well by our GM, Adam.

Overall a fun game. Definitely leans towards beginners, but everything worked and was fun. Maybe would not recommend for more than 4 adults.

Really fun room. Our GM August was phenomenal!!! Really unique puzzles that flowed really well with the theme of the room!

We started the room and within the first 10 minutes were asked to step out due to “technical difficulties” (I.e. they forgot to reset something). Once back in we picked up where we left off but definitely took away from the experience. Then in the second room, the door to the next room(which we were supposed to be trying to get open) was left open by staff. I quietly closed it so as to not ruin the experience further for the kids, but just very sloppy on the staff’s part, not resetting everything properly. The entire room is linear with everyone working on the same puzzle at one time which is frustrating in a larger group. There were only really 4 puzzles total in the whole thing and pretty easily solved. Not worth the money if you’ve done escape rooms before so I’d only recommend this to extreme beginners and younger kids .

This was the first room I played at Game Over and I absolutely loved it. As a universal fanatic, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to experience casting spells as one would in the park and how well it blended into the puzzles. The room was very immersive and had lots of sneaky references to the actual Harry Potter series. I also appreciated the fact that the room was linear making it easy to go from one puzzle to the next. The staff was super welcoming and our gamemaster was perfect and made sure to be thorough about how we felt about receiving clues. All in all the gameplay was very smooth, the decor was awesome, and I’d definitely recommend the room to anyone.

Overall, a pretty solid room. Not as fantastic of a spectacle as some of their other rooms, but the wand mechanics add a bit of fun for the family, though was a bit of a let down for a group of adults. The story was also a bit lackluster. Still, relatively happy with our experience at Game Over. August was a fantastic GM.

Fantastic escape room! Will definitely be back to try the others!!

Would love to see your rooms with more to do. Give more puzzles, more locks, more riddles to solve. For being a new escape room to the area, you’ve gotta make your mark and the two rooms we’ve done at Game Over have fell a bit flat.

We loved this!! The added wand action was so much fun. I don’t understand the “👎🏼”. Game over in Jax is the best. Try it for yourselves !!!! Harry Potter people will love it especially!!

Great room! I’ve done over 25 escape rooms and have the good, the bad, and the ugly. This room was so much fun, well thought out, and everything worked! The room is linear and makes sense. Most of it is tech driven which is really cool! The staff is so welcoming and friendly!
