Elixir

I was ecstatic to do an escape with this theme. Its so mystical and magical and there were so many references to "magic lore" that I was so thrilled to understand and that made the puzzles even more interesting

This is a beautifully decorated room! This was my 58th room (52W - 6L) which I played with four other adults with similar statistics. This beautifully decorated room is mostly-non linear, split tech-mechanical, and medium difficulty. All of the puzzles were in tip-top condition and fit within the theme beautifully. We played all three rooms at Exodus today and escaped this one with 7:46 remaining (unfortunately, we needed two hints). Our GM was great, we asked that she not give us any hints unless we specifically asked for them.

Elixir was amazing!!! The puzzles were so immersive and clever. It has a great mix of challenging and fun at the same time. This is one of the few escape rooms where the theme and the puzzles greatly match. The designer was very ingenious in the creations.

This room was small but packed a punch. The room was also very fun. I would recommend it!

This room is super cutely themed, with a mostly linear game play. A combination of tech and mechanical locks, it was a really fun game with some unique mechanics. Our game master was great at dropping hints when we needed just a little prodding along.

Loved this room! Was pretty difficult with just 2 players. Got stuck at the very beginning, but then was able to move at a good speed after that.

Our family of four played Elixir at Exodus and it was another solid experience! The space itself isn’t large, so I’d say four players is the sweet spot. More than that might start to feel a bit crowded. This room has been re-themed a few times, and we’ve actually played all of its previous versions. Each time, the team at Exodus manages to top themselves, and Elixir continues that streak. The puzzles were well thought out, with a nice mix of alchemy and mystical elements that tied neatly into the theme. The flow felt smooth from start to finish, and the ending was both clever and satisfying. Exodus consistently delivers fun, well-designed rooms that make you feel like you’re getting great value for your money. Elixir is definitely worth a visit.

Elixir is a solid room! Great for a smaller group. Fun lighting and smoke effects. Story beats were delivered in a fun way that didn’t interrupt gameplay, and we enjoyed the puzzle flow. If you played deFrosted at this location previously, you’ll notice a few puzzles that stayed the same. If you’re up for it though, it’s definitely worthy of a replay!

We love this company. Such a great room for 2! Similar to defrosted as its the same room. Katie was great. Remembered us from before! We made it out to place 3rd with no hints! Hope they design more rooms to come back

Loved the room overall, they had a great use of technology, and the puzzles and theme of the room were interesting. I’d say the difficulty rating is about a 7/10, I had only 1 other person in my group. Some of the puzzles being fairly vague contributed to its difficulty, I do think the room could be 75 min room instead. There was a technicality with how one of the puzzles operated, which hindered us from continuing, and wished our gm helped us with.
