This room is great and even better than the room before (Teleporter Trials). The theme is fun, the decor is thematic, the puzzle are engaging, and the owners are spectacular. I can't wait until they have another room!

This was a room full of surprises, fun, intrigue and beauty! At every turn there was something delightful and unexpected! We had so much fun. It was hard to continue playing the game when we wanted to stop and focus on the intricate set design and all its fun details! We absolutely loved every second of this game!

The owners here were SO kind and we had an absolutely lovely time. On just a day’s notice, the owners were willing to stay open late to let my wife and I play two of their games and we are so happy we did! This game was nothing but a good time throughout. With varied sets and a pretty big footprint, this puzzle centric game oozed charm and whimsy. You’ll use all your senses, fingers and toes to get through this game and meet lots of new friends on the quest to help the Fairy Godmother. If I had one criticism, the video production in this game, while used sparingly, did not match the homespun charm of the aesthetics of the rest of the game. The voice acting was all done by their staff and was lovely and the video work in Teleporter Trials was kitschy and on brand, the animation here felt like a bit of a mismatch. I cannot recommend this game enough. There were only nine new games in the US nominated as a TERPECA finalist in 2025 and this game absolutely deserves this accolade. Stop by Lock, Clock and Peril whenever you can, if you like hand crafted and lovingly made puzzle focused escape rooms, this is a day trip worth making!

Our hearts are so full after doing this room! While we were initially meant to do Teleporter Trials (but cursed traffic caused us to miss the booking), it appears the fairy magic 🪄 pushed us to do this room instead—and I can wholeheartedly say we do not regret it one bit. This whole room was endearing, feeling like a cozy homecooked meal. Even down to the little details, like with crocheted characters by Sarah (our GM). The story is child friendly and lighthearted but that does lessen its enjoyment. The whole set design and puzzles are full of character, it really felt like we fell into a children’s fairytale. Puzzles themselves aren’t too difficult, very intuitive and logical, which meant that we had time to take in the setting. The GM also keeps watch throughout, and you can have fun little banter with them in character. There are multiple rooms of different styles, so the scale and adventure felt huge! I couldn’t recommend LC&P enough, it’s clearly made with love. Take your time in the room, enjoy the beautiful design. Also make sure when you’re there to take a trip to the bathroom to see the shark toilet roll holder 🫡

We were nearly an hour late due to horrific traffic and advised them hours in advance. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to do a different room and reassured us. Sarah was our GM and she was so lovely, introduced us to the room amazingly—full of character!

What an awesome room!!!!! From the introduction, to the set design and puzzles, this room was a delight to experience!!!! I will admit that teleporter trials, having played directly before this one, was more fun to progress through because I’m an alien nerd lol, but I loved the distinct areas and having the ability to #climb in this room!!! For scenic snobs, look out for all the little details in all the areas ;) it’s so cool to notice the little Easter eggs they put in deliberately!!!

There was one portion that I was skipping through the forest (I said that out loud too) and there was a - not so friendly visitor waiting for me lol that scared the crap out of me, but other than that one little interaction it was nothing scary at all

As usual, LC&P have outdone themselves. After completing so many rooms across the southeast, things can become predictable…not here though! The mechanics are brilliant. The story is adorable. The atmosphere is stunning. Not difficult, but incredibly witty. Highly recommend!
The flow was very smooth and mostly linear.
Amazing and beautifully done. So creative!
Our GM was cute, clever, and funny!

A super fun room with a ton of unique puzzles and great flow. The set design was on point and truly magical and fun. The technology they used was pretty cool and really fit the storyline. Nothing was terribly difficult but there was a lot of puzzles so it worked well with our group of 5.

Our group had so much fun in this room! We played with 5 and got out with plenty of time to spare. Despite that, I felt that the 75 minute intended length was appropriate. Had it just been my husband and I, it would’ve taken us closer to that length of time to complete the room because there are so many great puzzles to complete. The space was large and had lots of variation between scenes, which was appreciated. The puzzles are fun and logical. There was only a couple traditional locks from what I remember, with everything else being high-tech. I enjoyed how cute everything was, there wasn’t a spot of the room untouched. The owners are the nicest people ever, we loved chatting with Tanya about the room afterwards and she was so kind to offer us advice and answer any questions we had about the mechanics and how stuff works. As enthusiasts, it was amazing to be able to get the inside scoop. Would definitely recommend you visit this location and play their rooms, we can’t wait to return!

A delightful new addition to the stellar LCP catalog, A Not So Fairytale Ending is the best in an already excellent lineup. Lock, Clock, and Peril continues to cement itself as a home not only to some of the silliest, most whimsical and hilariously enthralling adventures I’ve encountered - but also to an industry leading customer service experience. I always leave LCP with such a good taste in my mouth, this is what escape rooms should be all about.
