The year is 1944; the height of World War II. The US Navy is fighting to establish a position of dominance over the enemy. Tensions are high and the crew is on maximum alert. You are onboard the Steel Shark - the US Navy’s prized submarine, deep in the North Atlantic Ocean on a vitally important mission to spy on the German Battle Cruiser, Scheer. The mission is going smoothly until, without warning, the submarine plunges into the sea. The engines have died and pressure in the cabin is quickly increasing. The hull is cracking under the immense pressure of the seabed and, without power, only 60 minutes of reserve oxygen remains! You and the crew must act quickly so you can continue your mission. If you succeed, you’ll not only survive but will surely become national heroes. Looking around you begin to discover clues that lead you to believe this wasn’t an accident, but sabotage by German secret agents. They have removed six oxygen silos and hidden them around the ship. You’ll need to scour the mess hall, rummage through the control room, and uncover the silos to repair the steel Shark. Can you reinstate the power and help the Steel Shark back to the surface before the entire crew perishes? Oxygen is already running out!

I wasn’t impressed with the staff. We have been one enthusiast in escape rooms. We usually get to meet our GM and get feedback at the end. The person that worked with us personally was the person that checked us in. We were told to be there 10 min before our start, but he walked out after checking us in to “set up the room.” When he returned, he checked in more people. We didn’t feel like his intro to the room was knowledgeable about the room or story. The GM appeared to be only one person watching all of the rooms. This person was unable to pay proper attention. When we requested a clue we were given a clue for a puzzle we had already completed. There were things written I. The room from past players that were not wiped off and appeared to be part of the game, but actually interfered with our game play because it stopped us from completing other parts. I think this location has a lot of potential, but there are weak pieces that need to be addressed as well. With the price, the staff should have some additional training and support.
The room was not completely reset so there were things that we thought were clues that were written by a past player that created problems in our game.
The game master’s door was open when we went by to get to our experience. It appeared that there was one game master that was watching all of the rooms. We requested a clue and we were given a clue for something we had already completed. This made it feel like the GM was unable to monitor and fully track what we needed because their attention was too split. I also didn’t like not meeting our GM and not getting any feed back from them. We do a lot of these and this is the first one that has been that way for us :/

It would not have been as hard if the room had been checked over and reset correctly. And f the GM was paying more attention.

There weren’t a lot of separate puzzles so our group could split up and use their strengths. Very tight space.

Very tight space but A LOT of information to take in. Individuals can work on different puzzles. Definitely a challenging room.
Our GM was unable to explain how the final puzzle worked!

Great production quality. Explained to us what we missed after. Just VERY difficult. Would not recommend doing it with only 2 people. Get a big group, at least 4
