The Ice Tiki was a wooden cargo ship. Its crew consisted of only the captain, Bob Crook, who died the day his ship crashed into an iceberg in the Pacific Ocean. The ship was nevertheless saved thanks to Hawaiian intervention and preserved as a Hawaiian treasure. All this happened because it was carrying a highly valuable, stolen cargo that could not be lost—the legendary Tikis! Their value remains immeasurable to this day. Over the years, many ambitious thieves have attempted to steal them. Your mission: Enter the ship and steal the Tikis without being detected!

Heist Tiki by Way Out Escape Rooms was the 2nd room of our Athens Escape Tour 2026 (out of 18) and the first game of Day 2, played with the same team of five. This room is all about pure puzzling fun, and it delivers exactly that. The puzzles are varied, clever, and sometimes quite challenging, with a few that really made us stop and think for a while before the solution clicked. The story is simple, but that clearly isn’t the main focus here, the goal is to create a playful, energetic puzzle experience, and it succeeds very well. The room keeps everyone engaged and working together constantly. One of the standout moments is the ball pit, which also doubles as the photo spot at the end, definitely a memorable and fun touch. It’s easy to understand why this room has been ranked in TERPECA 4 years in a row, especially considering it is already around seven years old. Two members of our team had previously played it when it was still called Ice Tiki, and they mentioned that the room has been significantly upgraded since then. Highly recommended for all players, a fantastic puzzle focused experience that remains fresh and fun even after many years.

Probably was the most joy I’ve felt while doing an escape room. Our whole group smiled through the whole experience. This room could definitely use a makeover but it didn’t take away from how much fun we had. This brought me right back to being a child.

This place was recommended by other escape rooms game masters in th area. It didn't disappoint! The experience was very unique, the puzzles where unique and the game master was great. We went with a young child (6yrs) and this game had all of their favorite activities. Having that said, being physically capable is important in the enjoyment and completion of this game.

We have heard lots of great things about Ice Tiki, the predecessor of Heist Tiki, so we had high expectations. Heist Tiki did not let us down. The puzzles are fun and ingenious. The game master guided us using sounds and lights if we got wrong or correct. We had a great time even when we were little tired from the long day. The location was quite far away from the city center using public transportation. We ended up taking metro and Bolt and it still took us more than an hour to reach there. But it's definitely worth visiting.
