This room is objectively an immersive, involved and interesting magic-driven experience with non-linear puzzle progression and tons of unique puzzles we've never seen before. I have no doubt under better circumstances that we would have loved this room. Our experience was made poor by two main drawbacks: 1. Broken/Old Components As typical with rooms, we were told at the beginning that anything that isn't easily moved should not be forced. Despite this, there were a significant number of puzzles that required force to progress, with even one of them breaking where a panel did not open that should have, leaving us stuck until the GM told us to pry it open. The components that we were not allowed to touch were also updated throughout the room progression, leaving us more hesistant to touch and pull on the components actually necessary to continue. 2. Puzzle Flow & GM Interaction We have done a number of non-linear rooms, but the flow between puzzles of this one was lacking. The connection of puzzles to the main objective of each portion of the room seemed random at best, where a code could fit in multiple places as you all run around the room trying it out in the many locks. Especially in the instances mentioned in 1. where the required component wasn't accessible, the GM offered little guidance. We were left for at least 5 minutes waving at the camera before the help communicated to us was "what are you stuck on?" The GM only provided hints at times where they were not needed and we were progressing through the puzzles, leaving us stuck on the rest and stranded. I fully believe that under normal conditions, we would have loved the theming and very unique puzzles of this room - we were very excited given the high praise of this room. I hope our experience is an outlier and that anyone else who does this room has an amazing time. But personally, we had a terrible experience and wish this went differently.

Servants of Sleight was a real puzzle fest! A great intro and smooth gameplay. A game that gets all the details right. Top tier transitions and subtlety. This game had us believing in magic and performing it ourselves πŸͺ„ Quite a few memorable moments, and quite a few more memorable puzzles. Set design was well done without being over the top, and the transitions into larger spaces were handled gracefully. Definitely a puzzle first game that still holds up today. Not my favorite at this location, but absolutely worth the play. James was a great GM!

I have been hearing about this place for years and am very pleased to say they lived up to the hype! The rooms were throughly detailed, had unique puzzles, and challenged my family and I in the best way possible. I have played 50+ rooms and these were easily some of the best (Especially Servants of Sleight!). We were a bit nervous playing with 5 people in rooms labeled for 6-8 (we usually do half of the maximum capacity), but we had plenty to do as a larger group and actually used most of the time (first time many of us got nervous about time in quite a long while). Equally impressive was how great our game room monitors Silver and Austin were! They were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and personable. Both took the time to answer any questions we had, responded quickly when we needed the occasional nudge/time check, and ensured we had a fun experience. These rooms are expensive no doubt, but well worth it for the rooms and the team behind the scenes.

We had a family of four and all of us had something to work on or figure out. The storyline was so fun and definitely picked your brain. We will definitely be back! Our Game Master, Austin, was awesome.

This was by far one of our favorite escape experiences to date and unlike any other room we’ve done. Our party of 4 stayed busy throughout the experience and loved the variation in puzzles! Austin was such a fun, attentive Game Master which made the experience even better. We will definitely be back!

This was just absolutely amazing - the best escape room I have done to date! From the set design to the clues to the amazing staff, I am in AWE!! I wish I could do it 1000000 times. As a pair we were not expecting to escape, but we're pleased when we did. Silver was an excellent GM, and made our experience even more special. From the moment you walk in you are immersed in the story. THANK YOU for am amazing experience!

After having this on the wishlist for a while, I am so glad I got this chance to play this game and it instantly jumped to the top of my favorites list. So many unique elements to this game, and the set design was as good as it gets. On top of all that, I love that The Exit Games took the time to walk us back through the room and answer questions and explain the mechanics of the room. Definitely a must play game and deserving of its ranking!

Gameplay

Top tier gameplay! Every single puzzle was super enjoyable and thoughtfully crafted to fit into the story. While the room was not exactly linear, each task was apparent on what it would lead to next.

Atmosphere

Probably the best set design I have encountered! Each room was incredibly immersive and eye appealing in its own way. Each room told its own mini story with the way it was decorated, its special effects, and its sound design. Kind of upset we got out with so much time to spare and didn’t get more time to just be in the ambiance of each room.

Customer service

The Exit Games adds a nice touch of service by walking you through the room after completed explaining the room to you and answering any questions and pointing out easter eggs or things missed. It added to the already great and friendly service by Silver from start to finish.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

This room suprised us with how many unique elements an puzzles it had that we had never seen before in a ~40 games of experience. The ending was great fun!

Story

The story telling starts before you even enter the room and progresses throughout in a unique way where every setting is like a different β€œchapter” of the story.

Difficulty

Medium

I wouldn’t say this is that difficult. 4 of us with moderate experience got out with 27 minutes to spare with no hints.

High tech

Ideal number of players

The majority of the game is non-linear and there is a lot of space to explore, so felt like we benefited by having four people. Could probably be done comfortably with up to 6.

Scary

Not scary

Maybe an β€œeerie” vibe at one point (and potential for one β€œspook” if you are jumpy, but wouldn’t go as far to say this is even a spooky room.
