1 escape room

The theming and props in this game are excellent! The story is good as well. There were a few unclear elements in the game, but with a few hints, those can be overcome. Be sure to take a flashlight. They don’t provide one and don’t make it clear that you can use one, though it is definitely needed. This escape room has the best theming of any room we’ve been to, but the execution is lacking in some clues. We are not mad that we came, but left a bit frustrated over little details.

Gameplay

There were two clues that led to the same thing, so time was wasted trying to figure the duplicate clue out. It was too dark to see, a flashlight was not provided and they did not indicate that a flashlight could be used. Game was not monitored all the time, to inform us that we were wasting time on the duplicate clue.

Atmosphere

The theming and props were awesome! The speakers and sounds effects were great! We really, really wanted to love this room!

Customer service

The game master was polite, but went through the story so fast that we could barely understand him. Also, he didn’t make clear when he gave us a hint. We asked for clarification as the lights behind one clue made it hard to tell which images were lit and which were not, but he didn’t really help us at all. The lady at the front desk didn’t even welcome us or tell us about any of the onsite activities. The other staff in the building did not even acknowledge anyone’s presence.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

It has some of the best theming and props as any escape room we’ve ever been to. We really wanted to love it.

Story

The story was interesting, but our GM should have told it more slowly instead of rushing through it.

Difficulty

Hard

The only reason it was hard was because the hieroglyphs on the clues didn’t match completely and because of the duplicate clue that we wasted fifteen minutes on.
