Ah, Appleseed Avenue. That beautiful place where humans and puppets coexist. You’ve always wanted to visit, but never quite had the time. And then you see the job posting: Appleseed Avenue detectives and medical examiners wanted, humans or puppets apply. Are you a detective? No. Do you have medical experience? Well, it doesn’t really matter because these are puppets and not humans. You apply, and to your surprise, you get the job. It turns out that the day you are scheduled to work is Election Day. You don’t really follow puppet politics, but you know this one’s a biggie. Five candidates are still in the running for the mayor of Puppet Town in an increasingly tense race. Either way, it probably won’t affect your time on Appleseed Avenue. Right?

Hands down one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever been to. The set, the gameplay, the concept, the puzzles. All perfection. Also the characters within the game were all phenomenal actors who made the experience feel totally immersive. I can’t wait to play again.

Really unique room - I've never seen this theme in any other room I've been to. It ran seamlessly, and the props were in perfect condition. I loved interacting with the Muppet actors. The humor and jokes throughout the story line were also very funny and intelligent. I would highly recommend this room to anyone in the LA area.

Amazing game. Half escape room half murder mystery. Set was phenomenal and worked really well with the story. Speaking of story, as a person who usually doesn’t really pay attention to the story in escape rooms, the story here was engaging and kinda fun. No lock and keys (yay) and all the puzzles were fun. Had a good mix of easy and harder puzzles, and my group of more expierenced players had a little trouble. Our GM was so funny and great. Super fun and unique room (there’s a reason why it’s 42th in the world).

So much fun! Highly recommend! We did 6 people and easily finished in time. They split you into two groups, which they explain who is best for which group. I highly recommend just wondering the area and looking at all the details too, it's so fun, take your time and enjoy it!

This is an experience to be fully present for. The minute we walked in, our group was already immersed in the story. Out of the now 250+ rooms I’ve played, this has become one of my top rooms to recommend in the area. The set, puppets, narrative, and game play were fantastic! When they say this is a real-life video game, they really do mean it. The set up of this room could be replayable with different stories (or cases) and I am excited to see what Appleseed Avenue comes up with next. It felt more like being thrown into a detective case rather than your traditional escape room so stay open-minded and you will be in for a surprise. We got a chance to talk to Matt and learn more about the process behind the magic. 🪄 We had a group of four and there was so much to do that it did increase the challenge of the room. A group of six would be ideal to split up!
