I liked starting in two separate rooms for this, however it was kind of hard to hear my partner on the other side through their communication system. I enjoyed the theme and effects a lot! The digital effects that went with some of the activities were really cool.

Lab at Loch Ness is super cute. Teams are separated into two groups at the start which I really enjoyed - because of this, I recommend at least 4 people play. The two groups meet up again later in the experience. The puzzles don’t use traditional locks and I appreciate the detail and thought that goes into rooms that don’t use locks. The ending is satisfying. Enjoyed playing and highly recommend.

My least favorite room in this place. There isn’t really any puzzle solving or putting together information, its all task based and finding objects. There isn’t much that connects the tasks and no indication that puzzles were connected to each other in any way. Definitely not enough to do for parties over 4.

Puzzles that were needed to completely other puzzles didn’t seem connected nor was there any indication that they were connected. And the staff kept giving us the same pre generated clue four times in a row. Not enough to do in the first room for the amount of people allowed in the room. Once in the second room puzzles got more fun but still would’ve been better with less people.

I like the theme overall and the last portion of the game was so unique and cool- it made the biology nerd in me do a happy dance. The hardest part was the split entry- we had 2 people and 1 person in each room. Communicating was very difficult because you have to wear headphones that are tethered and not long enough to do anything else in the room while wearing them. I get why it is that way for larger groups to communicate and have to relay information through several people accurately, but it took us so long to get through that part since we were also running to put headphones back on. Overall a great game, just a little frustrating at the beginning with fewer players

After playing our first game at The Bureau (UFO), we decided to play another straight away. This was different to any other room we’ve done in that you start in separate rooms. Loved the new challenge, loved the theme. There was one puzzle that was a bit frustrating and the GM sent hints without us requesting them, but those were the only negatives.
