GLITCH by Glitch Escape Room was the second and final room of our day, and after a disappointing experience with Catch Me If You Can, this turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. We went in with low expectations, but walked out impressed in our team of 4. The room is located in the basement of a former Philips lab, and the experience is centered around Philipsβ history and their iconic devices. The GM/Host was super friendly, gave us a warm welcome, guided us through the building, and set the tone with a brief yet effective intro. Once the door closed behind us, the game began immediately. Where this room truly shines is in how each puzzle is smartly connected to real Philips products and milestones, from historical references to actual hardware. The puzzles were fun, well-themed, and well paced throughout. The game lasts 90 minutes, and the earlier you finish, the more time you have to enjoy a drink at the in-game bar, a clever and memorable ending touch. We escaped with 23 minutes to spare, allowing us to relax with music in the background and soak in the ambiance. Sound design and lighting were also nicely done and elevated the experience. Recommended for all players, though having some experience will help you appreciate the puzzle integration even more. A hidden gem that exceeded our expectations.
