Die Nacht des Werwolfs [The Night of the Werewolf]

This room was a pleasant surprise. We were on holiday nearby and felt the urge to play an escape room after all. This one had only a few reviews, but the photos looked very promising. The room itself was beautifully designed — it really feels like a small village that you can explore. Each house has its own atmosphere. The story becomes clear right away, and the game host gives a very good briefing in English. If you play in English, you receive translations of the texts you may encounter in the room and that you’ll definitely need. However, this doesn’t happen very often, which is good. There is quite a lot of storytelling through texts that are not translated. Luckily, I understand a bit of German, and I found this to be an added value for both the story and the overall experience. There weren’t a huge number of puzzles and they were quite linear, so I’d recommend playing with a maximum of three people. That said, the puzzles were fairly challenging, which was great. We did occasionally get stuck, especially when it came to investigation and searching. Overall, this room was a very nice surprise: great atmosphere, enjoyable puzzles, and some elements I hadn’t seen before. Thank you, Sophie, for the excellent hosting — the hints came at just the right moments and were still cryptic enough that they didn’t feel like outright answers. Fantastically done!

Ein wirklich sehr gelungener Raum mit toller Atmosphäre. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß und können den Raum als Vielspieler sehr empfehlen!

Meiner Meinung nach der beste Raum, von The Key in Marburg den sie hier gebaut haben. Es ist schön gestaltet, spannende, passende Rätsel, tolle Interaktion, Abwechslungsreich und eine kleine Stadt zum entdecken. Wir sind gespannt auf die nächsten Projekt in der neuen Location.
