Sherlock Holmes, a killer? As a member of his Baker Street Irregulars, the eyes and ears of the great detective on the street, you woefully protest such an accusation. The deceased, Theodore J. Smith, was at Baker Street to give information about the string of serial murders Holmes was close to solving, crimes being perpetrated with a firearm uncomfortably similar to his own favorite revolver. When Smith’s body was found in 221B, the ballistics matched the crimes and Holmes’ revolver matched the ballistics. The detective maintains that the revolver found is not his gun, that the weapons had simply been switched; his real revolver hidden within the flat during Scotland Yard’s search. But with all of the evidence pointing to Holmes, they are certain they have their murderer clapped in irons. Gathering your team together, you have been granted one-hour access to 221B by Inspector Lestrade to find the needed clues to prove Holmes is being framed before Scotland Yard closes the case forever. Your Main Objective: Find the real revolver and place it into evidence in order to rescue your employer in time. Bonus Objective: Find the clues and evidence to point Scotland Yard to the true culprit.

266 escape rooms

Rating: 3/5 - Decent room but nothing outstanding Pros: ➕Decent looking set with some real objects used as props ➕Puzzles were fun enough ➕Multiple rooms to explore ➕It's a slight improvement on Missing Maestro, the room it replaced ➕Has some tech mixed in despite being mostly padlock based. ➕GM was friendly and helpful when needed ➕There's an additiona murder mystery element requiring deduction Room for imrovement: ➖This is a brand new room in 2025 but still feels like it was made in 2015. Twisted hasn't really evolved or gotten better over the years. ➖Nothing was particularly interesting from a puzzle or set standpoint. I would recommend 2-4 players. My rough ranking of Twisted's rooms starting with my favorite: 1. White Rabbit - Rating: 3/5 2. Submarine - 3/5 3. Cabin - 3/5 4. Sweet Shoppe - 3/5 5. Murder on Baker Street - 3/5 6. Collection - 3/5 7. Missing Maestro - 2.5/5 8. Christmas Caper - 2.5/5

The story is that Sherlock Holmes has been framed for murder! Your job? Get in, figure out who did it, and get out. Many of the puzzles were interesting, a couple were different cyphers which were pretty fun, in my opinion. I think this is far from their best room at Twisted, but think it’s worth a playthrough if you’ve got a free afternoon.

We had a group of 3 experienced escape room players and we ended with about 8 minutes remaining. A couple different items that stumped us or we weren’t sure what to use, but overall it mostly flowed from one puzzle to the next.

Mostly padlocks but a handful of triggered locks.

We played with three and that was perfect. There were enough asynchronous puzzles that we were able to work independently. The rooms are also fairly small, so large groups probably wouldn’t be good for this room.

My wife and I completed this room with time to spare. Fun room and the small details matter! A little sluggish to start off but it picks up and you get the feeling accomplished feeling, which is what I love about escapes. This room replaced Missing Maestro, but there is an Easter Egg from that room left behind. Would recommend all rooms at Twisted Escapes, we’ve done them all.
