Le Château du Supplice Éternel [The Castle of Eternal Suffering]

Je recommande fortement! Ce scénario mérite sa place sur le Terpeca! Déjà, qu'il n'y ait pas de walkie talkie c'est tellement plus immersif, il y a une très forte thématique, de belles épreuves physiques et un très beau décors, avec juste assez de petits jump scare!

I can confidently say The Castle of Eternal Suffering is one of my top 10 games. Rarely, if ever, does a room capture everything I would want in a game - one of a kind physicality, strong narrative, challenging yet fair puzzles, and an expansive, beautiful set. So many moments will be forever burned into my memories as some of the single best moments in an escape room. Coupled with a strong sense of place and a variety of well fleshed out characters, this is one of the few games that truly felt like being the star of an adventure film. Montreal is one of the best markets for escape rooms, and this is absolutely another crown jewel for the market.

This escape game was such a treat! Worth a trip to St Jean to complete this and the high ranking is well deserved. There were many unique and surprising elements that added to the fun experience and the puzzles hit a good balance of difficulty level, even though there were some puzzles that we struggled with at first. Excellent execution of audio/visual, lighting and sound mixing/ambience, one of the best we’ve seen in North America and on par with some of the best escape games in Europe. Excellent gamemasters and transition between them over our two hour play. There was quite a bit of downtime (waiting for the storyline to finish) which was tolerable, but quite close to the threshold where we might have lost our patience. We are looking forward to coming back to play other games. Note, take heed of the warning/caution that there are physical elements to the game and some flashing of lights - they mean it. Some flashing was a bit intense for us that we just had to close our eyes. Overall a must play.

Plus Sauve Qui Peut sort des nouveaux jeux, plus on peut remarquer une nette amélioration en terme de qualité d'énigmes mais aussi de qualité de storytelling, de décors et de mécanismes! On voit vraiment les efforts fournis par l'équipe dans celui-ci. J'ai adoré et très hâte de voir ce qu'ils vont offrir pour leurs prochaines salles. (Aussi le staff est super gentil et accommodant, merci pour ce weekend de 9 jeux la gang)

What an escape game, the atmosphere, the witch, the puzzles. Everything was perfect. What a game.

Some great moments but puzzles were lacking both in quantity and quality. Too much downtime really broke immersion. Still liked the experience but a bit underwhelmed. Very overrated at #19 Terpeca.

Un jeu avec tous les éléments (ou presque) que j'ai toujours voulu voir dans un jeu d'évasion. J'ai sauté de joie plusieurs fois. Des belles surprises à tous les coins, j'en aurait pris encore et encore. La meilleure salle de SQP selon moi. (Et mon nouveau top 1).
