Cabin Cult

as my groups resident wuss, i’m always hesitant to play horror rooms but cabin cult has easily made my top 5 of all time. ts was camp as fuckkk. while i can’t deny that i found it scary, the humour made it way more digestible. if you don’t do well with scares you should still be able to make it through the game just fine (as long as you’re not offended by crude humour). the puzzles were sick! nothing was overly difficult and there was a nice variety. the set was awesome too. considering it’s a smaller venue, the space has been utilised really well. tanner was a wonderful gm/actor. he was really accommodating and was sweet enough to take us through easter eggs we missed after the game. the amount of dedication and passion that’s been put into this room really doesn’t go unnoticed. 100% worth playing.

This game was so super fun and so unique!! I really did feel like I was in a spooky cabin in the woods mixed with some adult comedy. The theming and atmosphere in this room is amazing and the space is massive. You can tell the owners put heaps of love into their craft as the live actor dedication was on another level! The puzzles fit the theme so well and flow beautifully. A keen attention to detail is needed for this room and be prepared for heaps of jump scares!

Cabin cult for me held the perfect balance between scares, comedy, and interactive gameplay. I loved the puzzles, the props, the atmosphere and the interaction between GM and players. These guys are amazing and they hold a special place in my top five venues with the absolute masterpiece experiences they create and I cannot wait to see what they come up with in the future.

Fantastic room, great production quality, clearly a labour of love that they've put tons of effort into and are very enthusiastic about.

Hands down one of my favourite escape rooms! Tanner was sooo amazing and there’s just so much heart in the room. If you love escape rooms do not miss this one. I wish they had more rooms so I could do them all. Patiently waiting until it’s Mrs. Claws season ☠️

This room is goated- up there with the likes of The Cool Space and Cipher Rooms. Mega immersive, great puzzle design, story and the usual things you look for in an escape room. But, this room goes above and beyond the typical escape room. The horror-comedy element was sensational (even for someone like me who doesn’t do well with horror and barely got through The Sacrifice). It was campy, fun, iconic, engaging, and genuinely made it feel like a safe place to let your hair down. Tanner brings a lot of love and joy to his performance and you really feel the difference when the GMs design and build. He’s curated something truly special and added something to the market that I feel many of us escape room enthusiasts didn’t know we needed. The location just off Oxford Street means it’s easily accessible by bus, train, metro with a short walk. Looking forward to more of their offerings and really hope the community here rallies to support them as they are away from the CBD cluster of escape room providers that get a lot more foot traffic. Where spooky/campy meets heartfelt. I ADORE this provider.

11/10 hands down the best escape room I've been in. so much care and heart was put into this room. very scary and campy hilarious fun. puzzles were very varied and of a very good difficulty. the owners were loooovely. I enjoyed the hard work they put into curating this experience. you have to go.

This was an awesome escape room. Lots of creative puzzles plus Tanner and Will made it 1000x more entertaining. Can't wait for their next room.

Cabin Cult is a spooky delight with a customisable scare level to suit any team. It was a riot from start to finish with a herculean effort seamlessly pulled off by our host. Come for the puzzles (which were great!) and stay for the comedy and thrilling horror. There is a wonderful balance between scares, narrative and puzzles. I enjoyed the lighting choices and the sound design was stacked and fabulous. Come prepared to buy in to what the scare actor is selling to really enhance your experience. It was such a fun romp!

WOW WOW WOW! What an incredible experience! Cabin cult is a meticulously designed, spooky, funny, iconic escape room with great high tech puzzles, a clear story line, and intentional set choices which really got you into the story. We found the puzzles were a perfect difficulty for an intermediate escape room level. We managed to escape and have the third best time. Would highly recommend!!!! Big shoutout to Tanner, he was absolutely incredible! We will definitely definitely be back for their up coming rooms :)
