We recommend that you play this room if you're in Eureka Springs, AR. The theme fits the history of the town. The game flows nicely. The game master was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, it was explained to us that since Eureka Springs is a tourist town Escape Room 13 doesn't intend to change any of their rooms out anytime soon. This was such fun that we wish they'd do more.
Having to discover the secrets of the speakeasy and escape within an hour was the common theme. The room was set up very well for the period. Puzzles were innovative and challenging but clear. The room flowed very well.
The room has all of the expected props of a speakeasy. Very immersive.
The staff was excellent, enthusiastic and welcoming. They have a unique (funny) way of requesting hints and the game master did an excellent job of moving things along.
Particularly interesting or different
No
Nothing really unique, but still fun.
The plot carried through from start to finish and fit the room well.
It was a challenge with 2 players as there is a lot to find. However, the puzzles were straightforward and there was nothing too hidden. Very fun.
The room incorporates alcohol, cigarettes, and allusions to violence (not appropriate for all ages).
Items were worn due to use but everything worked perfectly with no limitations. They've had this game for a while so they've worked out all of the kinks.

Accessibility
The room was well-lit. There was an audible clue. Moving throughout the room may be somewhat limiting with a bar at one end.
Paid parking nearby is required, but there is a convenient app.
