Largely agree with the previous reviewer. Highly linear game with not that many puzzles. There is nothing to work on or look at when others are working, so this game would be best for strictly 2 players. Many of them are on screens, and there is almost nothing you can interact with or manipulate in the entire room. There are lengthy, frequent, and repetitive videos that get played. Some mechanics (not really puzzles) are a time sync and repeated multiple times, making me almost groan each time it started back up again. One puzzle did not work, and we got bypassed from it. Hints are done through self-service on a screen, or the GM enters the room. Our host was friendly, but I would not recommend this room.

5 escape rooms

This escape room was fine. It felt like a set of iPad mini games, the background noise for some of the puzzles was too loud, and some puzzles seemed to not even work for us. Notably, 2 of the puzzles were completely solved for us before we entered the room - this meant we missed out on the rewarding feeling of solving the puzzle and on the story behind those puzzles. The GM gave us little story to go on but the automated narration gave us a bit. Overall, this room had many issues and was poorly run - the GM did mention this was either their first time, or the company's, running this room. That would be a valid excuse but they did playtest and seemed to just leave puzzles solved. If the iPad games are removed and the room is fixed/reset properly, I might recommend it to new escape room gamers. Otherwise, I wouldn't. I definitely wouldn't recommend this room to experienced escape rooms visitors.

Gameplay

The puzzles were less problems to solve and more highly compartmentalized mini games. Combined with the overly loud noise provided by the first half of the room, the mini games felt frankly overwhelming and unrewarding when solved.

Atmosphere

There was a lack of narrative throughout the room - it felt like elements were just slapped onto a wall where there was space instead of put where they would make sense for the story. And the final few puzzles were basically iPad mini games which completely ruined the immersion. I also think some of the final mechanism wasn't working as intended because the GM couldn't explain how the game ended for us.

Customer service

The staff was friendly and accommodating.
